Aaah man I know exactly how you feel! We're a family of farmers here in France and we live deep and high into the Black Mountain. We have quite a bit of land all over the mountain and so we have a couple of mountain sources on our land that we've caught to give to our animals and for our multiple gardens. It's just me, my mom and my sister working, so a couple years back we got three bathtubs that were going to the dump and brought them to the farm. We put down two wood pallets on the grass in front of the main building were the sheep sleep in winter and put two of the tubs on them. The third tub we put into a hole and installed some rocks around and made it into a fountain were the sheep could come and go drink freely in summer and the dogs could bathe in when it was too hot. Then we used the mountain stream water that was coming out of the "fountain" and in summer, when not just the dogs but their humans were also too hot, we filled the two bathtubs with cold stream water. And because we're alone there and basically own an entire mountain, we took turn getting naked and cooling off in the tubs, overlooking our sheep grazing in the fields and the blue sky that goes on forever, with dogs running all around and jumping into the tubs with us. There is nothing better than a tub in nature. I hope this was so much fun for you, everyone deserves to have this kind of joy in their life!

I just found your channel a few days ago when it was recommended, and ever since I’ve been binge watching your video’s back to back !! The places you visit are breathtakingly beautiful, I love the idea of being in the middle of nowhere, and I especially enjoyed seeing you in the hot springs which reminded me of glacier pools in Antarctica with their crystal clear light blue water only hot! I always wondered how people could get in a bathing suit in the middle of winter with snow on the ground in near freezing temperatures, but once you explained how warm it is being near the hot springs, I’ve been dreaming about going myself!!

Boiled Rosa is not on the menu. 🤣 I saw the Bungee Jump sign and immediately thought "No Rosa, don't even think about it." I love hot springs and always trying to find new ones to go to. The natural ones here most of them you need to hike in even if its a 15-30 min hike (depending how fit you are). We found one recently out in the back country where you park and is a min walk or less. But its 4x4 required.

we found White Horse after being disappointed with Alvord Hot Springs by asking around at a little general store near Winnamucka. They said, “take this road, go 39 telephone poles and look for a dirt road, unmarked, on your right. We camped there and exploring around, found the largest beaver dam I’ve ever seen. The pools were amazing!

I always wonder WHO puts tubs in places like that. At first, I had a germaphobic reaction to a "dirty" tub. Like if I saw that in a hotel, I'd complain to the Maître d. haha kidding. But you reassured me at the end when you said letting water out and keeping water flowing keeps it bacteria free, etc. Look, I just have some toughening up to do. :) LOL. Ok, I didn't know the songs, but the lyrics were hella relevant! Nice! And that "rest area" is like a destination for me now!
