So I've taken a look at the L1 button since everyone was asking about it when it doesn't click. The L1 clicks because of the microswitch that's directly pushed by the lever, if it's not clicking then it means that switch is probably broken in some way and you're gonna have to replace it.

Hi there! I too have a Nacon Unlimited and mine came with a stuck-ish button from fabric. But since I bought it overseas and I live in Brazil, there was no way to return it or fix it with a warranty. The L1 button on my controller doesn't make a click noise and is loose, meaning that simply just resting my finger on the button triggers it. I used this guide to open it up and placed a tiny bit of sponge on the lever that pushes the actual L1 button that is hardwired onto the circuit board, to restore the resistance, but it still doesn't make a click sound. Can you please make a guide on how to fix a non-clicky button or a guide on replacing the circuit board? Thanks

However, the clicking sound is impossible to restore because the faulty button itself is hardwired to the circuit board, and the only to fix it is to replace the board. Hopefully I'm wrong, but nothing online says otherwise and I even tried to invent a solution myself but found it to be literally impossible to fix it. Best to replace it or deal with it.

@@amix843 I honestly suggest you don't try it. It's possible that you'll cause more problems than trying to fix half a problem, and won't be worth it. You could let an expert do this guide for your controller.

Thanks mate, my R1 button didn't click & I noticed there was a tiny crack on the button/lever (can't see it without magnifier) which made it losing power to push the switch on board. I simply fixed it by applying a bit of cyanocrylate glue on the crack while the switch is still working fine.

Thank you for this🙏. I've opened the v2 to apply dielectric grease to the sticks to solve my stick drift. I wasn't into opening the unlimited as it looks more complicated its also still under warranty (getting no luck with replacement) hopefully the grease will fix the unlimited. 2 V2's and now the unlimited all developed right diagonal drift😭

Might be there's dust or other debri in blocking the sensors. If that's the case, all it needs is a proper dry cleaning, and it'll be as good as new.

Finally got a video showing the inside. Please, can u help me? My R1 button stopped triggering. I thought about the warranty but tryed to unblock it (as sometimes it happens with dualshock comtrollers) by simply getting it bavk up to its normal position. Mine is working really well but there has been one issue. Over normal wear and tear the L1 and R1 are soft now. When i got it, they both clicked, and then, over time, one stopped clicking, then a week later the other one did. Hey bro, I'm having the same problem and haven't found a solid solution though. Their support is garbage and won't answer with a solution for any of the problems you may have with this controller. At the end it's actually not worth it spending your money on these expensive trashy controllers as they will last less than a regular ps4 controller but with a much harder-to-find support for eventual problems that will definitely come. It's an utter shame how they give a peace of garbage for such a high price and not even give you any support to find a solution so that you have to spend another hundred bucks to buy a new one just because of a button flaw. If I find any solution I will be posting a comment here as I know a lot of consumers are having this exact same issue. Cheers

It made me realise that the Razer Raiju TE has absolutely garbage quality analog tracking. Dielectric grease worked for me. If your out of warranty then follow this video to take apart the pad. Remove the thumb grips from the housing and pack it with grease.

For that issue, someone recommended increasing the dead zone for the trigger, but of course, that means you have to press it in deeper for it to register.

A "pro" controller like this brings about more utility when playing the game ie. All the sensitivity settings, button mapping, etc. Build quality wise.. it feels ok.. But maybe due to how I treat it the stick is slightly drifting already. There's really no reason to get it if you don't even play games competitively, and if you just want the extra buttons... well there's the PS4 Back Button attachment available now.

@@marauderz thank you for replying so quickly. Here is the deal, im an avid gamer. So i like my toys :) I want to get it for 2 reasons 1. Want something durable 2 something with a premium feel and more bulkier than DS4 How do you mean "the way you treat it? And would you prefer the nacon over razer tournament editon? Btw your videos are really good

@@brucejrfreeman7844 Well, I dropped the thing a few times so I wonder if that contributed to any problems. And I DEFINITELY WON'T recommend the Razer Tournament Edition... wow.... such a gamble getting that!

hello friend I have that same control .... 4 months later the R1 has failed ... the button works but does not click like the rest of the buttons ... I don't know if it has a solution ... greetings.

@@72steenbok never found any spair parts for it but it’s a connector inside that connects the board for the x o triangle and square buttons to the motherboard

Very informative video! The L2 on my controller constantly triggers in game (I start aiming down sights without clicking). Not sure if I should make the L2 setting less sensitive, or could there be an issue with the hardware? Thanks for your help! Got a like and subscribe from me!

Baja 89 it’s really irritating especially when playing FPS games. Have you tried making it less sensitive through your settings?

Hmmm.. I guess it's a drift issue, you've been using it for a while? Is it still in warranty? Either you get a replacement, or like you mentioned, maybe you can try to adjust the sensivity curve so it ignores the initial area, basically add some dead zone to the triggers.

Wei Min Chan nah it’s no longer under warranty. It’s really frustrating as L2 is pivotal in FPS games, and it auto triggers which makes me aim down sights randomly. Anyways thanks for your help!

Im looking at getting one but i am trying to find a controller that the R3 button wont break like the dualshock 4. If u have pulled apart a dualshock 4 u should see a small little black thing that pushes the button to make your character run thats what wears down and no longer works. is there any controller with a better build that wont break so fast? As i do play a lot about 14hs a day in the weekends and about 6hs a day in the week days hopefully that gave you a good idare of how much i use the controller would the nacon be a good controller?

Well, if you get the nacon you can at least map the thumb sticks to the back buttons that “should” last longer... but maybe you should think about not pressing things so hard? :D
