@@antonionsfw no the job is not done, this is music, this is talent, the progression you speak of, 99% of it has no talent, it’s all electronic bull$hit, love seeing young people enjoy this $hit, but to say it needs to progress when you’re talking to an age group that saw this genre progress is fu{king stupid, we see what music has “progressed” too, and it’s fu{king disgusting and a disgrace to music

@@eriknelson5583 man, i think you're just listening to mainstream music. try to go further in punk genre or alternative and you'll find talent. now, if this genre of music kept going, would you still appreciate it as much as you do nowadays? the nostalgia of being in myspace and listening to all these bands makes the songs hit waaaay harder. anyways, i love tbs still and i hope they keep making music.

I was worried about coming back to this song after the emotional impact it had on me in highschool. That album helped me through a lot and I still love it even if I am in my mid 30’s 😅

same as the rest of the comments: I'm 31. Still listening. I'm glad you all are with me. We lost a lot along the way. Thru drug overdoses and car accidents. We're here breathing, fam. I got it bad. I got it baaaaaaad.

Best pop-punk/emo band of all time, they paved the way for every single band that wanted this sound after them. Timeless and classic, I’ll be bumping this until 2050 lol

My high-school attitude, not because they made the song but we were all there and taking back Sunday delivered. Legit 🙌

I used to listen to this album religiously in the 10th grade on the bus ride home. And in my room at my parents house. The impact this band had on my life from this line up to the line up with Matt fazzi, to the original 5 members line up will always bring me joy. Glad to have grown up with this band, regardless of who was in the band. Every member made Taking Back Sunday something special. Oh and even the line up with Jesse lacey and their old lead singer was something special too

I’m 39, almost 40. This record came out when I was 20 and it was the soundtrack to my summer of 2004. What a magical time - I was dating my then girlfriend, playing in screamo bands and having the time of my life. I am truly blessed. 🥹

Didn't know about TBS until I was in my 40s when this album came out, and it quickly became one of those that becomes part of your DNA. Love every song but this one and New American Classic are probably my favorites. I'd play them over and over just like I was a teenager, lol🌝 Even tho I'm in my 60s now this is still one of my all-time favorite albums. All those commenters in their 30s talking about not wanting to grow up, hey I got news for ya... I STILL feel like that and probably always will. My mother would just say I'm immature but I say whatever, just call me Peter Pan😂💜💚😆💙♥️🧚♂️

It's the early 2000s. I'm nearing the end of my time in college. Life makes even less sense to me now than it did as a kid. MTV randomly shows me this song. It is perfection. Thirty minutes later I have the CD and am busy learning to scream my lungs out over it. Eventually I grow out of my emo kid phase, but 20 years later I know I will never grow out of my emo appreciation phase. Close your eyes, just settle, settle.
