Thanks Sandip, Well Endeavour v/s Fortuner is a long battle where some prefer Toyota brand where as others may want to buy the Ford. BUT in todays scenario the Endeavour is a great product with more features and better engine too (more power and an extra cylinder). So if you want to buy an A/T then the Ford is better product, if Manual then definitely the Toyota as its available with a larger 2.8 L compared to 2.2 L of Ford. Hence i bought an 4x4 MT Fortuner.

Well I like Manual transmissions specially in such body on frame tough SUV's, it also gives better control when OFF ROAD. Manual is not available in the Ford 3.2L as thats only in A/T. Manual Ford is with smaller 2.2 and is a downgrade for me. Hence i bought this 2.8L M/T Fortuner.

Brother congrats and keen that in mind it's Toyota not a maruti or tata, u can drive on higher speed on first day too, engine doesn't require any minimum km drive it's ready to rock from factory itself,,,, have fun don't worry drive as fast as usual.

I'm pretty sure that the cars run in isn't done by Toyota. And constant highway speeds in a new car could have a bad impact on the new engine. I'd suggest you to go through the engine break-in process in the owner's manual. Anyways, congrats on the new car.
