Great stuff! When I got mine the clutch engagement was super low too. Then the clutch master cylinder failed and after replacement the engagement was MUCH better. Regarding the stereo upgrade, you can run a cable from the cd changer plug to play music from your phone. Worth keeping the stock head unit IMO. Another option is a bluetooth cassette adapter, they work pretty well but need to be charged occasionally. Or a Bluetooth module as others have suggested!

If you swap the coils and they are original to the car I would keep them safe. Old ones are actual german coils an not from Asia. LTW wheels is the move with this rare techno. Some rare pieces i would do is Shrick manifold and schrick cams with a custome tune. I think the stock setup with good tuning you could have close to a 300hp NA motor. God this is SO GOOD!

Also I'd like to add that I've went with 318d (E46 post lift version) steering rack. It's about 2.9 from turn to turn and it feels really good for what this car is. IMHO I think that Z4 steering rack is really unnecessary unless you are tracking your E36, go for 2.7-2.8 that should be perfect (also E46 steering rack has for some reason less play in it and it's more direct, even though they are pretty much the same).
