Hi guys! I'm back from my short solo trip to Tokyo and have a nice big ole video to show for it. I honestly only saw maybe a quarter? even less? of the city and no time ever feels like enough. But I hit my favorite spots, visited a few new places, and took it slow to just enjoy being able to walk around a city like this! The endless exploring.. even as I grew tired of the extreme business of Tokyo life, I never grew tired of the endless tiny hidden areas that sometimes didn't have any major sights but are oh so charming. And meeting and chatting with strangers is so easy in Japan, due to their curiosity. Tokyo is still one of my favourite cities to get lost in. What drove me away was the superficiality of those interpersonal bonds, and people never having time for one another.. that and visa problems lol What drove you away?

I watch so many travel vloggers and can honestly say that I’ve warmed to you instantly (and so much more than ANY other travel KZbinr I’ve ever watched) because you seem like the nicest person and I feel (as a fellow solo travel loving introvert) like I’m watching someone like me go out and live the adventures I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. New to watching your channel, and absolutely loved this video!! I’m planning a trip to Japan in 2025 (originally because I wanted to save a lot to go for a month and not have to worry about money, and now it’s more of a necessity 😂) but ANYWAY you mentioned a lot how you didn’t know how some people can watch your channel and let me tell you, I’ve seen just about every japan video on KZbin in the last year that I’ve been planning this trip, and yours is definitely the most diverse and informative and entertaining as well! I hate those 5 minute videos where they basically just show skylines and don’t really tell anything else, so this was very refreshing! Many thanks and much love!
