The plaintiff met the defendant while on a bus to a casino. He says the defendant asked him for money, but then she disappeared. He’s suing for the cost of the loan and interest. The defendant argues the plaintiff is interested in her romantically and he’s only suing because she rejected him.

I have had cell phones since they were a common thing in the early 90s...Never...ever...has my cell phone broken. My wife and children have broken theirs but they are careless...I still have phones that are back from the Samsung 5 days...Only because they have been doing specials where you turn in an old phone and get a new phone for free...Usually the previous generation of the current phone but hey...It's a huge upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy 5.

This looks like a chance for the Judge to use her husband's classic response, "I wouldn't trust you if your tongue came notarized." The defendant seems incapable of speaking the truth, almost to the point where she believes that if she says something, it becomes the truth. She says the proof is on her phone, but there's not a word about her claim, so she then says, well, that was on my old phone. So why did she originally claim she had the proof? Fun fact. Litigants are paid 300 to appear on the show. When one loses the peoples court pays the verdict cost. The audience is paid as well, they are extras. And are paid 100-300 a day. If the person has striking features/interesting or what they are looking for they are given the 300.
