For the frame to hold the gas gauges may I suggest a 3D printer. I have been watching Sam Holmes sailing repair a boat and using one often to make odd parts instead of buying them. They seem amazing. Hope you had fun down there.

Looks like a great trip. What was the purpose of the rope attached to the anchor chain? I am not familiar with the requirements of operating a large vessel.
@tryingnottosink91073 жыл бұрын
It hooks to the chain and is then tied off to the cleats. It enables you to take the stress off the windlass and transfer it to the cleats, which are stronger.
@wesleyadams54333 жыл бұрын
@@tryingnottosink9107 That makes sense. Thanks for the response. Trying to learn all these tricks and techniques, maybe I can take a trip like that in my own boat someday.

I enjoy your channel. However, what is it with KZbinrs that they all seem to feel the need to stick stickers everywhere they go. Many of the channels I follow do this. Isn't it a form of vandalism?
@tryingnottosink91073 жыл бұрын
No. Almost all marinas have areas where boaters put stickers. We do not put them in places they do not belong.
