Wise words (towards the end of the video). Roland has excelled - extremely long flight from GA to Okinawa; new home; and now a totally new experience @ the beach. He grew a lot more comfortable knowing the security net of papa & mama around him on the beach. You're a handsome kiddo Roland.

How's the weather in Okinawa? Is it similar to Hawaii or Florida?

It’s super hot and humid in the summer and less hot but still humid in the winter. I haven’t been to Hawaii but I’d say it is similar to Florida but perhaps a little more humid 😜

Been thinking about taking my cat to the local beach. Did Roland complain during trip to the beach? I'd be worried if you dropped the leash he would outrun you to a tree or someplace you couldn't get him back.

I think it depends on the cat. Roland was cautious yet curious.

I would use a harness to walk him. It’s safer than around his be neck. Also, that neck collar looks too tight. If you have too pull him back while on a leash, he could get hurt with that collar.

@@JesseMontgomery, Yes. I watched your video. I see that you use a very thin harness and covered by the cat’s hair. I’m used to seeing harnesses with more coverage - in case the cat has to be lifted by the leash in an emergency. I do see it now since you mentioned.
