Ours meowed for 3 days non stop.. we couldnt sleep, and googled a lot about wtf is happening. The more i read, the more i was like "omg what have we done"... Bengals are not your regular cat.

@Zoe Stearns to be honest we found her on kijiji adds, i really feared it would be a scam and almost turned back on the way to the seller. It turned out everything was ok. I learned a lot about the breed during these 3 days we couldn't sleep. If i would look for another Bengal, i would not search kijiji adds again, id google for a good breeder and pay full price. Bengals are known for having genetic diseases, if i knew before, i wouldn't have bought from that seller. Also note that these cats are little tornados, she allready destroyed an easy 1000$ worth of electronic devices by biting the cables. They sprint at a crazy speed and require a few hours of your time for playing every day. I'd say, bengals are cats for experts. Overall though, no regrets, i love her so much, and she's too much fun. We adopted 2 kittens from a shelter last month and they didn’t know what breed they were exactly, which was fine for us. Although now we know at 12 weeks old that they are definitely 1/2 bengal. Wow they are fun!

Be sure to check the shelters, that's how I got mine for 20.00. Many are surrendered by people that don't know what they are getting into, and don't realize how high energy they are, Plus unlike a regular house cat, they don't sleep a whole lot, especially at night., The hallway in my house sounds like a bowling alley, and he seldom walks anywhere, always a full speed run, he also can jump from the floor to the top of the refrigerator.

You have made a great choice my sweet bengal aka “Lady Lucky” is about 15 😻. Some suggestions is to have almost free dust litter, very good quality food (no bi-products), and distilled or filtered water. These will cost you more but you will enjoy seeing her be healthy & happy for a long life.😊🌺🙋🏻‍♀️

I've had a lot of cats and that meowing as a kitten is totally normal because up until this point that was their only form of communication to find their mom once she relaxes and you become her "parental" figure she'll be meowing to find you instead so the consistent meowing will stop

Our 8weeks Bengal kitten has been meowing non stop since we got it not eating or sleeping only a little rest between meowing rants before it starts back up doesn't want food or water or to be touched just running from hiding spot to hiding spot every corner meowing. My daughter is aad her new companion isn't taking to her yet. I think he misses his family where we purchased him🥺 We hope with patience he will warm up to us and stop meowing and start eating and drinking water soon.

Lol from 11pm to 1am our 1 year old is terrorizing the house with giggles! Her energy is hilarious. If everyone is quiet she will go for a bottle cap and play hockey throughout the house kicking it down the stairs. I have a Bengal cat too. However he said he was 8 weeks when we got him and the vet said he was 5. He was rlly small at the time. He was also sick twice on the first day home and wouldn’t eat or play for like a week. He’s a little bigger now and an absolute devil and loves to play and is constantly asking for food and treats. I love him so much and ur cat is so adorable too. She seems very happy 😊

I just found this! I LOVE that Kona found a couple of "weirdos" with so much LOVE TO GIVE!😍 I have a female Bengal too; she is a rescue, adopted at 6 months, in mid-December 2020. I had just lost my "best friend" of a TWENTY YEARS at the beginning of that month. She was a female tri-colored Tabby whom I'd had since birth--she was the granddaughter of a "barn cat" we had in Idaho--and I was inconsolable! I am retired and now live alone, so I was devastated. My daughter-in-law insisted we go look at rescue cats (she thought I needed RESCUING as well! 🤥) and i guess she was right; I couldn't have returned to my empty house at that time, so I thought that helping out a "rescue" cat would keep me busy. I didn't know it at the time, but she turned out to be a BENGAL, full-blooded, so I can't imagine how she had ended up living with a homeless woman in a tent in winter in Oregon. The woman had taken her to a rescue home because the cat kept getting out of the tent and running away, and the woman feared she would get harmed. God Bless that woman, her concern for a lost cat changed my life. My cat that had passed, "Puddy Tat," had been sick for 3 years before I lost her, requiring being medicated 3x each day, with a costly medication I had to order from out-of-state. I didn't care about that, but it was the constant worry, trying to keep her alive, that took a bigger toll than I realized. I wasn't even sure I could give another cat the same love, but I COULD give it care and affection. Boy was I wrong! I've always LOVED animals, and had mourned dogs and horses I'd lost over the years, and "Puddy" was my first real companion cat I'd ever had.

I have to self isolate a lot because of my job so I got tiny ones for my husband who had never been around pets.. I keep telling him they left their parents and are needing his attention.. he claims he hates them but I know better. Snacks disappear and I am sure he is not munching on them. He is spoiling the little rats and I am pretending I don’t see it.
