When i take my braids out i usually use my water mixture with water aloe Vera juice/gel and oils... Add coconut oil let it set then i take it out.. I sometimes do an overnight hot oil treatment or acv treatment

its not that you LOST hair you shed hair everyday . but it falls away and gets brushed out (typically 100 hairs a day) so 100 hairs x 30 days of no brushing // natural shedding seems like hair loss but it really really really isnt

I had my braids from June 4th to July 4th, one month exactly too!! Everything you said about shredding is true, my gf was telling me the same thing, but when I seen how much hair came out from shedding I was shocked and shooketh😱. But since deep conditioning weekly STILL, my shedding has been less and less almost non existent!! The No Heat and DC challenge has seriously changed my hair for the better!! It’s super soft, it’s manageable, products work better, shedding is less, moisture is more. It’s been great♥️

what I find easy and helps when I take down my braids and detangle. I wet my hair first, souse really good conditioner that has amazing slip,and like always when you detangle your curly hair start from the bottom and work your way to the top. After that's done use a clearifiying shampoo, and then deep condition and hot oil treatment.

Let me tell you removing braids is a work out on its own! Trust me, it took me two hours to take out all of my braids and I don’t even use other hair or hair extensions! I just use my natural hair. Unfortunately for me, my hair just sheds so much when I take the braids out I wish it did not shed as much. Even when I wash out my hair and I tie it back into a bun. It still tends to shed a lot and my hair gets very frizzy. I will have to check out some of the products in your video to see if they can help me. Thank you for sharing! 🤗

I know you’re not a fan of sulfate shampoo’s but after you take your braids out you probably should use a lush shampoo called big it has pieces of sea salt in it that exfoliate the scalp and I imagine that feeling really good after you take out braids

Next time you should have Royce help you with take down. It cuts down the time and doesn't make your hands as tired because I don't know about you but when I took down mine last year I started to cramp up.
