I remember walking into a Chevy dealership in 1967 with a buddy, both of us were 16 and had heard about this new Camaro. We were asking a salesman what was so special about a Z28 and when we heard the exhaust, all our questions were answered !

Great purchase, it has it all. I wasn’t aware that there were so few of these cars in Canada. I saw one at a dealership wish I stopped and looked at it at least.

Yep, they are a rare 'bird in Canada. No pun intended.

One thing I noticed down south is that their back roads are narrow narrow narrow!
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
That's exactly right. It's not on camera, but it was unnerving going down some of the roads. There are a lot of totally blind corners
@CALISPEC1 Жыл бұрын
Very cool seeing these cars on the roads I grew up on again. I was in high school when these cars were new and can attest that there have been more then a few smokey burnouts done across that bridge at the Falls by multiple WS6 and SS F Body cars. Maybe a few high speed “timed” runs across that road from McCreary to Corbin as well LOL

You could always just pull the bump stops out of the back to lower it down a bit if you dont want to change springs
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
That's a good idea. I'd like it a little lower, but the last car was so low it was undriveable on rough roads with the welds.

I have the same exact ceta t-top 6 speed car and my dad has a 02’ Camaro SS vert with a auto and it has the ls6 block. The Camaro is all stock but the ceta has optional slp loud mouth exhaust and upgraded slp ram air lid so both are 345 h.p. I also still have my first car a 92 formula firebird with a 5.7 liter with the dealer installed slp performance pack. So yeah I enjoy the SLP cars but I also have a gt350.
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
That's a solid f-body lineup! I'm also a big fan of the GT350's too. I'd be proud to own one someday

What a journey man, will it be used on your track? You did a good job with the Corvette I used to buy and sell cars here in the UK, classic 80s sports cars Cleaning them was a challenge at times but nevertheless “interesting” Keep it up Driver Dean
@Greenlightfilming Жыл бұрын
Yes, I'll be driving the car on track. I'd die nailing a cone with it 😆😆 Detailing cars can be challenging, that's for sure. People don't realize how much time some of the steps can take when a car has been neglected.
