I MYSELF WOULD IMMEDIATELY SWAP OUT THAT TOO HIGH 3 : 23 GEARING. AND ... REPLACE IT WITH MINIMUM OF 4 : 10 REAR GEAR.. AND ... WITHOUT ME EVEN DRIVING YOUR CAMARO TO " SEE " AND " FEEL " THE ENGINE AND CAM RPM , AND ACCELERATION REVING AND " PULL " ... I CAN STILL TELL BY HOW YOUR CAR IDLES ... AND WITH THAT ROUGH IDLE " LOPE " ... THAT I BET IT ACTUALLY WOULD RUN AND REV AND ACCELERATE AND " PULL " HARDER AND STRONGER AND QUICKER WITH MUCH LOWER REAR GEARING . EVEN 3 : 42 AND EVEN 3 : 73 , AND EVEN 3 : 91 REAR GEARING JUST STLL AREN'T IDEAL . BETTER CHOICES DEFINITELY WOULD BE ... A MINIMUM REAR GEAR OF 4 : 10 . BUT EVEN BETTER ... WOULD BE 4 : 30 , OR 4 : 56 , OR EVEN 4 : 86 , OR EVEN LOWER YET 5 : 14 WE DON'T LIVE IN GERMANY ... SO .. THEREFORE YOUR CAMARO WILL NEVER SEE MAXIMUM TOP END / TOP SPEED RUNS AND DRIVING OF OVER 130 AND ON UP TO 200 MILES PER HOUR . ON THE GERMANY / AUTOBAHN HIGHWAY . SO ... THEREFORE MUCH LOWER REAR END GEARING IS WAY MORE DESIRABLE AND WAY BETTER AND MUCH MORE FUN AND SATISFYING FOR UNITED STATES LOCAL / SHORTER STREETS AND SHORTER AROUND THE AREA , ROADS RIPPIN AND DRIVING .

Yeah ... DON'T Even BOTHER " GUESSING " About The The " Bad " / Faulty Thermostat / Or Possibly NO Thermostat. Just Get A NEW ONE In There . They AREN'T Expensive And Are Easy To Remove And Replace On Chevy Motors. And ... Regardless Of What You Hear From Other Guys .. DON'T USE A 160 ° Thermostat. Its BETTER To Use A 170 ° Or A 180 ° , Or EVEN A 190 ° Thermostat. And ... Make SURE You Mix Up A PROPER / NORMAL 50 / 50 Antfreeze AND WATER Coolant MIX . NEVER USE JUST WATER ALONE IN ANY STREET DRIVEN CAR .

Amazing to see people racing again. And amazing to see the dirt track coming back from the dead.

Would be cool if there was a kit where the louvers were adjustable, where they would open when you start the car, and would close when the car turned off.

Ask KZbin to accept the use of the song, you can appeal for that, it will unlock the instructions. Or replace the audio without the song in the back. Your rear end whine like hell 17:30

I have an '87 GTA, same color red, gray interior, black top. Mine is a convertible. It's a 305, no 350s had T-tops in '87, and T-tops were required for ASC to convert them to convertibles. Only about 120 Firebirds were made into convertibles in 1987, and of those 120, it is believed that about 25 of them were GTAs. 1987 was the first year for the GTA. I've had mine for almost 30 years now. It hasn't been started for about 20 years. I just moved back to MA, where the car sits, at my parents' house. I am now trying to decide what to do with it- restore it and sell it, or sell it as is. I'm leaning towards restoring it, but I know that will take a lot of money. It will also bring a lot of money when sold, too, though. Any suggestions from anyone out there? I'd like to sell it and get a Monte Carlo SS, or maybe even a Buick GN. I also wouldn't mind keeping the GTA after it is restored, too, though, and just enjoy driving that around again for a while.

I had a red firebird formula 350. Loaded. Same drivetrain as yours. There is no digital dash or glass roof. Yes, it had 4 wheel disc brakes and so on. Even though it was red, without spoilers and such, it was a lowkey car. Maybe others thought it was a V6. I'd have thought the graphics and dual exhaust rumble would make it clear we have a V8.

Could try extending the overhang a few more feet, add some gutters and see if that helps keep the rain off enough. 2024 was an awesome season at the track man, get's better every year! Can't wait for 2025!

I'm a dirt racing guy first and foremost but, randomly discovered your channel and watch every video regardless of the content. Not big on the autocross stuff personally but still watch , it's racing and we have to support each other. I love the grind and hard work you have invested, along with not asking for the hand outs. You have great people lending their time and have a future for up & comers to race at a venue. Loved watching the progress and the fixes that went into each part of the track. Pulled the curtain back on what it takes to really operate a deal like this. I take photos out east for a publication, if I can ever get out to you, I'd love to visit. Typically that's in the middle of our racing season in the North East. Thanks for all you do, adding a venue for car guys is paramount for the racing community. Just checked the channel a few days ago hoping for an update, and I saw this. Can't wait to see what happens with the dirt track. BRMP on the up and up.

A piece of flashing like the kind over a window trim would have worked for the bottom of the T111. You should spread 3/4 stone or something similar around at the drip line. That way less dirt / mud will splash up and cause rot. Also, a gutter will help a lot if possible.

Great to see the progress/update! Excited to see the carts back on the clay track! As far as the bottom edge of the garage, maybe dig out and drop the grade slightly and back fill with some crushed stone to promote drainage?
