In case you didn't know you can also play as Jerusalem in Victoria 3 with a mod called Kikko's Formables. Unfortunately, you will have barely any resources and have to be part of a market to function properly. Which is a problem you have to sort out first. And of course, you could always make another Tunis video, but I will let you decide about that.

I like Laith's Commentaries on American History. For the Mexican War (It's what we Americans call the Mexican-American War), The U.S. actually DID conquer and occupy pretty much all of Mexico, and there were factions in Congress that were demanding far more concessions from Mexico, ranging from conquest of the entire Nation, to demanding just bigger chunks of it as well as signficant war reparations. What the U.S. decided to do, however, was "purchase" all the territory in the West with Guadalupe-Hidalgo and Gadsden from Mexico to send a message to the World that America was NOT like the conquest-hungry Europeans, and that America would seek fair terms and deals in any nation they dealt with. In the long run too, Guadalupe-Hidalgo/Gadsden also quashed pretty much all irredentist claims Mexico could have had to the American West, so it was in fact far more beneficial to the U.S. and Mexico than any other outcome of that War.

Hey I recommend to anyone trying to forming the alpine region from Switzerland, It's a really interesting playthrough as there's no ports, little pops and you're wedged in between France, Austria and sometimes the german fed. it might be from the formables mod btw

When you do campaigns like this you should unify the region. For example you should have conquered Milan Sardania Corsica Venice. It would make the end of the video more satisfying because it feels like you achieved something cool like the pope unifying Italy and Holly land.

It is day 142 since I asked you to do the challenge with Croatia in VIC 3 but in one of the videos, a good person named Andraip (Thanks for all the help) said it has a few flaws so it's time to correct them. So when you start playing as Croatia you have 15 years to get your independence, after that you cannot ally, get in a defensive pact, and you cannot be under any kind of protection and you must rival these powers as soon as possible: Austria, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Ottomans, and all nations from the Italian boot. You also must embargo all those nations and cannot enter their custom union nor can they enter yours. You cannot be in an alliance with any of the top 10 nations, including a defensive pact custom union, or protectorate, but you can trade with them. AI must be put on the default settings in case it isn't. If you ally let's say Portugal, and later on they get into the top 10, you must break the alliance. You also must stay monarchy all the time. Form the Danubian state with Croatia following these rules. (FYI incase I didn't make it more specific, you cannot join anybody's custom union you must always at all times have your own market)
