Taking The Mark V "Crunch" Channel For A Spin (Improvised Solo)

I recently got the Mark V 25 watt head from ‪@mesaboogie‬ with the Rectifier 2x12 cab. In this video I am using the "crunch" channel with the gain between 4 or 5 and it's mic'd using a single SM57. No post EQ was added, just some reverb afterwards (to control easier in the mix).
I'm using my custom A2 from ‪@KieselGuitarsTV‬ with ‪@LarryDiMarzio‬ Tone Zone (bridge) and Air Norton (neck) pickups.
I've been really impressed with all the different tone options you can get from this ONE amp. This low-gain crunch sound still has a lot of sustain to carry you through a solo which I love.

Ch 1 Crunch is arguably the best mode on the amp - the gain boost above 50% on the mid knob makes it able to do almost anything. It's also capable of one of the more convincing Marshall emulations on any of the Mesa amps.

Great solo! I have the 90 watt Mark V head and 1x12 wide cab and I love them. I'm really impressed with the versatility that the crunch mode has and I think you did a fantastic job demonstrating that in this video.
