Have you OVERHEATED the motor? I had a Surron with BAC8000 15kw at 500 phase amps. It would over heat on hill climbs or aggressive single track. Can you try to overheat the E-ride with the X9?

I’ve got a question, when I cut the brown wire on talaria xxx I know it boosts the top speed, but does it also boost the acceleration speed? Because I raced my friend on my talaria and he was on a stock surron and he beat me. I’ve seen the xxx win against the surron so idk. Thank you great video as well!

Is the e-ride pro’s motor going to be able to handle the extra Kw/PA’s(over time)the controller unlocks. I pretty sure it’s not an IPM motor like the MX4.

The E ride has a more name brand high end motor, it’s technically a QS165 v2 motor which you can google, the motor has a lot more potential than any other stock motor. There are still higher end motors but this one is very capable.

They are crazy, 1 of them is rated for 22kw continuous and 38kw , and the other is Rated for 30kw of continuous discharge with a peak over 40kw baby! We only rode the stock e ride for the drag race, alex rode an upgraded talaria xxx on the ride. We haven’t noticed much less range riding trails than before we’ve drained the battery 3 times now with the controlller.

We could always lower but gearing the bike down a little just lowers the motors rpm’s at any given time and that adds efficiency when going faster. It also helps to smooth out the throttle with the added power and torque. At the end of the day the E ride motor is a low Kv motor so has lots of torque and does better with small gearing. Some other motors are much higher Kv and do better with larger gearing and spinning faster.

The display has a ton of features and the app shows a lot of different things. You will drain the battery faster if you actually use more power.

We may at some point but it really just depends on how you ride it, if your riding them the same speed in a test they won't be any different. If you pull full throttle a lot on the more powerful bike then yes it drains faster! We feel it didn't make much difference though

Take any of their wheelie tutorials on a sting r or modded surron same shit. Don't be scared go find a large flat field go about 15-17kmh depending on weight and pin it. Try going at it like that to get the hang of smaller power wheelies and progress from there the slower you pin the throttle at the higher the wheel will come up.

Why does the 14kw surron from surronster go 70 and this one has 15kw so why only 60?

For some people it’s enough out of the box… and this isn’t an upgraded battery this is $1200 to get a ton more power and torque and makes it comparable to a surron or talaria with a upgraded battery and controller like you said. It’s still a better deal getting the e ride.

@@Talariaboys my friend has a 30ah pro s and has been looking for a controller for quite a while. We think it might fit but we just wanted clarification it actually does fit before we purchase it.
