It's a rule of thump: you gotta be present IN YOUR REELS! Agents and managers don't wanna see your reader, or scene partner, the submittion is about you. Otherwise, there may be even a risk of agent/manager casting the other person who showed up next to you becuase they spent so much on the scene, rather than you. And this biz is expensive, you better be spending your money of reels that actually work for YOU. I wanna see more of this critique, Wendy, thank you!!

Gold insight again thanks Wendy!🙏🏻 Confirms my logic & priorities I try to hit with my reel which I'm actually about to update with my more recent better footage. Pretty sure my PC's listening to me doing it cos this popped up😉One main concept is to maximise the footage on my mug actually working on camera but I do appreciate the need to see us 'listening & reacting'... Literally just rewatched thinking of you concepts😉🙏🏻

Love, love loving your videos. Ive seen you numerous time on the sites i look at. FB but i only noticed this today. Im gonna get down and dirty with a reel. Im just doing a little research first. Im looking at ALL of you vids before i make my reel. I'm one light switch away from being Amish so I'm having to recruit some help but I certainly want to get the best monologue I can

I would have made the same mistake by not knowing exactly whats looked for in a demo reel, your mind initially tells you to find the scenes you think are the best. In the moment you can forget things like lighting, positioning, dialog, ect. Alot of jewels in this video 💯

Thank you Wendy for this!!! I am with you on the first 15 seconds. I watched this entire video and there are so many issues with this its not even funny. The clip you highlighted as him being pretty and etc I feel, out of all of them, is the "best" but that is not saying much. (Aaron Hawkins)
