It would be nice if we could hear the sound. I can't hear the actress in the first video and in the second video I could barely hear her. I'd like to see more analysis videos like this in the future. Thanks 🙂

Now I understand act through the eyes... Now I see what people mean. The notice through the eyes is how the muscles around the eyes react, the eye lids, the eyebrows, and the pupils and then the face muscles get effected by the eyes emotions.

I don't know if the reel is supposed to be mute but I must say I saw something is happening without sound. It is natural. I see a subtle dialog, I see questions. Of course when you watch Dexter from 2000s what Carpenter does there is so too much some times but it's interesting. And I'm rewatching Stumptown these days - there are dialogs like here. I think it's harder.

Would brief narration from actor and some video editing, still focused on the actor, maybe helpful depending how's it directed to the story of the reel, still see acting from the actor plus their eyes????..

I wouldn't mind her acting alone, if her acting was more expressional. If you're used to doing live stage performances and monologues, it would work. I've been studying that way for a long time. But, I'm used to the actual stage. Which is different. I did have a legit question, is the acting reel only supposed to be 20 seconds long? Is that for both TV & film?

The first 20 seconds matter the most because it's all you have. Even when you're watching a TV show or film, if it bored you within 20 seconds you Chuck . I'm no expert but I guess that's why.😊

Actors ARE a product. At least if they are acting in the professional world of TV and Film. They are a creative product, but a product nonetheless- just like Movies in the theater are products, DVD's are products. Great actors know how to bring great emotion to the project and that is why people pay $16 to go watch the product in the movie theater. This is a business, believe that.

Half of my family in the music n acting business.. it's bc they think they can you plugg me it's not game and most don't take it seriously..some do take it seriously but don't listen 🙏
