I don’t think getting a deflection would allow you to score, as scoring a “bait goal” when there’s meant to be a story clearance will make the ball phase through the net like you missed, and you will be met with a goal kick. This happens a lot in ie2’s story checks such as the first matches between Gemini, Epsilon and Genesis where you’re supposed to be getting thrashed by the aliens.

Actually, you can't even lure te keeper out for a goal. It happened to me once when playing Genesis in Inazuma Eleven 2 in Fukuoka. The keeper ran up to my player so I passed to Shawn and used Eternal Blizzard, the keeper couldn't make it in time so the game made my shot go OVER THE GOAL. You gotta play the way the game wants you to play or you're not getting any goals lol.

" And near the end of Inazuma Eleven 2, if you replaced your entire team with random characters before you fight the corrupted Raimon team, it would play this dialogue : " See, Mark ? You had to get rid of weak players in order to get stronger. You and I aren't so diffent. " " I never got rid of anyone ! It's a great thing if a lot of new players have joined us. When you come to your senses, we will play football together with everyone ! "

There's a similar bug in inazuma eleven 2. If you have too many players, usually the game will delete one to make up for the new one. But apparently it can also delete story characters. For me it deleted Harley, fortunately I already finished the game but still

ive been playing all the inazuma elevens again, and i just beat litte gigantes 7-1 😭😭 i scored with gazelle - brave shot, hurley - typhoon, axel - grand fire, stonewall - doom spear, shawn - shadow ray, nathan - jet stream and jude - big bang. and obviously the other goal was the story required goal

Dude is there an American version that doesn't brutally murder every useful player minus Mark and Axel? If so I really want it because in the European version you have someone you have to walk to in front of the clubroom who sorts the squad for you. And it gets really annoying because of football battles. Please link a version that isn't so brutal if you can find one. Thank you if you even read this.

I got a huge problem. My touchscreen broke, and now i am unable to use it. I have thundeflash on my sd card but cant use a system transfer as the system settings operate with touch screen only. So basically i lost my game save for thunderflash where i finally was able to start the grandfather route. And since 3ds cant be repaired by nintendo anymore... i live in the netherlands btw.

The DS version of Inazuma Eleven 1 released in Europe uses the character sprites and models from Inazuma Eleven 2 and all of its special moves and some characters are coded into the game, because the IE2 game was used as a base to rebuild IE1
