Man, I've always found it weird in games when a former assassin ends up befriending you because they have good reasons to attack a person on your team whose seemingly the real evil one, but neither character is meant to be black or white about it and actually has a lot of shades of gray... Guts and Farnese/Serpico from Berserk I think, Vinland Saga did this (I think their names were Thorfinn and Hild... :?), there's Sheena and Colette from Symphonia of course, even Garr to Ryu from Breath of Fire III, etc... (Oh yeah, and Shinjiro and Ken from Persona 3. :p). I don't think this happens THAT often either, but when it does, it feels... strange. :O Like there's no real right side to pick, kind of like outright routes in Radiata Stories or Fire Emblem Fates, but on a more individual level... regardless of preferences, I usually find myself liking or at least tolerating both sides I think, to an extent anyway, or... something. :p
