@jenniferlapos9542 oh yes it does. They missed every single point.
@jenniferlapos9542Ай бұрын
@@ArcanusAI I hope my post wasn't confusing. I was responding to @alexfisher up above me. I gave your comment a thumbs up. That being said, it seems many at Lucasfilm or Disney are either unaware of or reject the religious influences of Star Wars, which is a shame because religion is a force for good when it's not being used for evil purposes by all the wrong people who give religion a bad name. One of the worst things Palpatine ever said was "Good is a point of view, Anakin. The Sith and the Jedi are similar in almost everyway, including their quest for greater power." No wonder people cannot tell the difference between good & evil. That's what moral relativism does: sow seeds of confusion. Case in point - The Acolyte.
@ArcanusAIАй бұрын
@jenniferlapos9542 my apologies I completely misread that. 😅 Yeah. They're a corporation that cares about the appearance and outer layer of Star Wars... but they missed everything internally. JJ once infamously said, "Star Wars is a religion" yet they forgot that it was meant to mean something. Be heartfelt. It's like Hollywood isn't full of true storytelling at its core. Huh. Who would have thought?

Beautiful video. It perfectly summarizes why I loved the Obi-Wan Kenobi show so much. It was a perfect atonement trip for Obi-Wan. He ventured through guilt, negativity, suffering and sorrow. In episode 3 of the show he basically delivered himself to Vader, seeking penance and allowing Vader to burn him the same way he let Anakin burn 10 years ago on the lava shores of Mustafar. He then progressively grew protective of Leia and by witnessing her great courage and innocence at such a young age, he opened himself back to the Force - not by meditation, but by immediate action, by "using his instinct", as Qui-Gon would say. The instinct to help, to protect, to do good - something he clearly forgot, as we could see in that butcher shop on Tattooine when that guy was being threatened by the boss, or when the Inquisitors threatened the population. He ended up "growing" in the Force and became one of the strongest Jedi Masters ever witnessed onscreen by embracing positive attachment - the will to defend, to protect, to preserve life. Not to possess or control, or out of fear of losing like Anakin. But protecting as a form of respecting the courage and resolve of the ones being protected. And he regained his trust in the Force by letting go - as Jedi philosophy requires - of his obsessive vigilance of Luke, which served him more than it ever served Luke, as Obi-Wan had shut himself off the Force out of guilt and was severely weaker than his past self for 10 years, most likely unable to properly defend Luke. It's a shame that practically no one can see what I saw in this show. I found it beautifully touching. I love how throughout the entire first third of the show he's sad, self-doubting and desperate, on the verge of crying every single time, only to mutate in Episode 4 into a concerned, hasty expression when saving Leia at the Inquisitorius, right until the moment when he's under all those rocks - when he grows in the Force - and becomes resolute, confident, focused on the path which is now clear to him. Then right at the last 10 minutes of the show, after he finishes monologuing to Anakin/Vader, he finally forgives himself and he smiles. He becomes optimistic, jovial, even snarky when he talks to Qui-Gon's ghost. He becomes the perfect Jedi Master Obi-Wan.

THIS is what Kenobi should've been. Have Obi-Wan learn from Qui-Gon to learn and become a far better Jedi. They could've even fit in Kenobi facing up to his failure of Anakin and other failures, old friends turned enemies (Commander Cody anyone?), and overcoming it all to become the wise Jedi Master we see in A New Hope. It sure would've been more entertaining and interesting than Reva or whatever her name was and that stupid way Kenobi "sneaks" Leia out.

Witnessing obi wan growing stronger and increasing his knowledge in the force going from an exiled Jedi general to the wise old philosopher we see in a new hope. The one we got was good but the one I had in mind would have shown how much more dangerous kenobi had become during his time of exile and why Vader was nervous and on his toes during the Death Star fight.

In a bustling cantina on Tatooine, Han and Leia engage in a lively conversation with Luke and Mara. The scene is set amidst the desert backdrop of Tatooine, with alien species scattered around. Han, with his rugged charm, is gesturing animatedly, while Leia exudes regal poise. Luke and Mara, standing close, share a moment of connection. The atmosphere is vibrant, with neon lights casting a colorful glow. The CGI animation style captures intricate details of their expressions and clothing, bringing out the essence of each character. The setting is reminiscent of the Tales of the Star Wars Galaxy, evoking a sense of nostalgia and adventure. The color palette includes deep blues, fiery oranges, and metallic accents. The lighting is dynamic, creating shadows and highlights that enhance the dramatic interaction between the characters.Han and Leia talking with Luke and Mara about their relationship.

Sacrifice as less than life bc one can’t be a ghost and still live on? Well, to be a martyr and die in one’s place of punishment or death itself, that’s truly wonderful and can inspire a whole rebellion if anything. hello skywalker stories, i know i said this is about anakin and not me but this scene on obi wan and qui gon is quite different. now this is about obi wan in this scene it kinda sounds like it’s more about what i gone through, losing yourself, no purpose, no meaning, anakin was everything to him as much as my birthday was everything to me, but now that’s no longer the case, i can still have birthday and enjoy it but this time it’s my mom now, there’s a part of my mom that i grown hate now. i have grown to a person that i fear, anger, being mean, mad and irritable, as i’m afraid of that i have been losing myself, in all honesty i do love my mom, i’m just misunderstood, my mom doesn’t understand me and other people don’t get my point and i hurt people i love and care about, i know i love, i know i care, i’m scared over what i have become. minus this keep up the amazing work you’re putting in to the star wars universe, whether it’s obi wan, whether it’s anakin or whether it’s somebody else, it makes a great video, nice! 👍.
