4:30 - NGL, I assume this is how Dooku would learn to wield a lightsaber if Anakin had choosen spared his life after "disarming" him, given how much he despised Anakin's prosthetic arm!
@JadusMoltriel3 ай бұрын
Traya wielded three at once without using hands, so it's certainly possible. Then again, Darth Traya was much more powerful than Dooku in the Force, so who knows. He's definitely very strong though, regardless, so I could see him learning to wield one saber at a time with the Force. It's not an easy technique, by any means. Both Vader and Revan have done it, although Vader was quite brutish when he used it. To master it enough to successfully duel an experienced duelist would take a LOT of concentration, discipline, power, and skill.

I will never accept that Dooku was truly a Sith. More like a rogue Jedi who turned against the order. He had a moral code of his own. He truly believed in the cause of the Separatists while Palpatine saw the Separatists as disposable pawns in a grander scheme. This is why Palpatine had Dooku killed. Dooku was no longer useful to him.

He actively taxed his people on his home planet to the point of starvation, while he lived comfortably in his castle overlooking a valley. He had actual shipping containers loaded with taxed gold and resources while his people starved. He was a horrible, manipulative man. He lied to Ventress to manipulate her into assassinating his political adversaries. He plotted against old friends simply for having differing political views. His 'moral code' convinced him that a war resulting in the deaths of billions of lifeforms was the right way to go about achieving his goals. He actively pledged himself to an entity he knew would dispose of him on a moments notice, for the sake of power. He wiped out an entire race of people who attacked him, killing even those of the race who had nothing to do with the conflict. (Dathomir) He allowed his political allies to wipe out entire planets of people, whilst still supporting thost allies with more droids to cause more pain (Watt Tambor using slavery on the Twilek planet for example). And finally, he actively knew of, and helped keep.secret the plans of the DEATH STAR. For a man who claims to want peace and justice, he sure caused (and even spearheaded) a lot of war and injustice. Dooku was a liar, who manipulated people into joining his 'cause', while in reality, his 'cause' was just creating pain and chaos for the support of his master. No man as smart as Dooku would ever believe, in their own mind, that Sidous would ever allow for the peace Dooku claimed to be after. Dooku's claims and politics were a front, and a sham. Dooku was a horrible person, and any claim of sympathetic political views don't change that.

@lordmogg-wright54672 ай бұрын
I think you are mistaken. The Jedi were always shown as having become decadent, and disconnected from the galaxy partially due to a fear of attachments, focusing more on politics than people. You are right that Disney doesn't understand the Jedi, as Disney seems to approach Star Wars from a grey moral perspective, no objectively 'good' or 'evil' characters. But it is disingenuous to pretend the Jedi were shown as flawless before Disney.

would have been interesting if Anakin or Obi Wan were to try reach into the force as force ghosts to pull out Dooku and allow him to come back as a force ghost. I bet he could teach Luke, even if Luke despised Dooku, about some of the methods the sith use to snare people into the darkness. Anakin was pulled in by his emotions but Dooku was lulled to the dark side by a twisted form of honor and righteousness as he saw what the Republic had become, what the jedi had become. A tutoring on how the Sith will use a jedis will to do good to turn them evil.

Also, it's interesting that the vision of Dooku has fangs similar to how the dark vision of Rey appears on the Death Star. @АлександрМохов-б9ъ3 ай бұрын
It is canon.
@toumaaizen5563 ай бұрын
It wouldn't. This is because Yoda's reluctance in training Luke had to do with patience but in here, Yoda was not reluctant but rather regretful over the past. He didn't want to train Luke here over the fear that he will fail and have another thing to regret. However, when he met Luke, after seeing how impatient Luke was, Yoda becomes reluctant to train him not because he will fail to train Luke but because Luke is too impatient and would not understand him.
@bugsbasti3 ай бұрын
@@toumaaizen556 But it's clear that Obi-Wan was preparing Yoda for Luke. "will you be ready when he comes?". They clearly talked about Luke before, given that Yoda doesn't even need the name or other context to know who "he" is. Yoda knows that the one coming to train with him is one of the only chances to take down the sith and the empire aside from Leia, Vaders son, Luke. Therefore, by logic, Yoda knows how old Luke is. It's not impossible to teach an adult patience, it's just easier to do with children, infants at best, who doesn't even have the chance to learn impatience. In other words, Yoda was intentionally looking for a reason not to teach him because he feared that Luke would fail like his father before him. So much for being ready...

This story pushed the bountries a little to far. Most force dreams are of what has been or what is to come. Yoda's dream had none of that. Yoda would have no idea of how Dooku's arms were sliced off. I don't think that Anakin or Obi would have spread around the temple or told anyone how he Dooku died. This also has Yoda blaming himself for everything. Alot of the things that happened he could not have known about and probaly still doesn't know everything that happed at the time for this comic. The reason he was on Dagoba in the first place was to hide and wait for Luke.... to teach him. It would not be now that he is just saying these things. I rate this story a 2 out of 10. Just bad. This entire story just seems...well, like crap. Star Wars needs a new direction. It has failed badly under Kennedy and Disney.

And yet the consumerist suckers continue to lap it up.
