Nostalgia at its best! Great work on painting these with the contrast paints.

Nice work with the BM miniatures! One thing you can do now that the mini can stand by themselves is change the original bases with transparent bases. I used the transparent CDs covers that came when you bought CD packages or just get some square CD cases (and thell people it's how you recycle). The effect on the BM map is fantastic, you can add/remove minis from the base or just fell them to "cure" or "revive them later", put more minis on the field. With your minis here, you can do wonders!

That's a treasure chest right there! 👌😀 I paint tiny details by wetting the brush, form a neat tip, dip in paint, then lightly wipe it on the container so that there's only just enough paint left on the brush. and then lightly dot straight down on the surface, so that only the tip touches it and not the side of the brush. But really, such tiny details are just a pain and maybe there's some super secret way to do it that I haven't figured out yet lol

Its crazy, after watching your vids on Battle Masters I went to look mine, unpainted currently, and noticed my bases were brown for chaos and tan for empire. My cards also had a Blue coverall with just the words Battle Masters on them instead of the art yours have.

Yeah I have notice some differences in versions. May be its a US / UK thing?

Good stuff, I have been looking forward to this one! Also, I sometimes use a fine tip Sharpie for dots like that.

I was thinking about a fine tip pen. So it works? I may try that! Thanks.

I was thinking about using contrast paint for my heroquest miniatures, but wasn’t sure they’d work since the models are so simple and flat. Your video gives me confidence that they’d turn out great just like your Battle Master’s figures here!

I have two HQ sets one I had painted normally but the second I hadnt painted so last year did it using Contrast. IT does work but you do have to be aware of those flat areas with the paint.

Do your dots with a thin black first then when dry go over them with your choice of silver it will make them pop.

9:00 try a light dry brush or grab a tiny 00 brush. But either way there too much paint on that brush, even trying your current technique with most of that wiped off onto a tissue or your thumb would help loads
