Aavak, 30 seconds in and you're already wrong about everything. Apprentice mage is INCREDIBLY good.

Meh, I'm not so sure about that. But to be honest, every character is good if you're experienced with them and play them well. ... which means no character is good for me T_T

Well, the Troll and Minstrel are incredibly bad. Also, I remember from their previous series that there are characters that have the Apprentice Mage's incredible ability, but without its nasty drawback.

Yeah, pretty much.

The thing is the drawback isn't so bad, it's only early game, and it's pretty tame; yes the Warlock (or whoever, the guy who always has full spells) is pretty much just the same but better, but being able to have 2 spells at all times is an extremely powerful late-game ability. Also drawing from the discard pile is quite good, as you can fairly regularly just nab a great spell after it gets used. But 5 fate is a very big deal.

It is an amazing game and this is like my favourite videos you do. However can you please do the next season with like Rhapsody, Orbital and this fellows. Talisman is what started me on watching them. It would be awesome to see you play with them again.

I miss Steejo in Talisman. His jokes and voice make it fokin' greeat! I still remember his leprechaun "become a tood for tree torns" impression fondly. I have to do the adjusted spelling, just like any mention of *BRIAN BLESSED* has to be in all caps.

I feel the strongest choices as far as the characters go would have been apprentice mage for you (as you chose), Dark cultist for bentham (Free stats, or gold/health/fate after every combat, or won combat, not sure which, is insane), monk for meta (as weapons without DLC don't go above 1 strength IIRC, and definately not 2, which is 1, or 2 strength below the bonus of 3 that the craft gives), and sage for shelab, as while the troll is strong, the troll is also stupid(no craft), doesn't get spells per turn, also can't hold spells, and the sage has the fantastic ability of knowing what is on top of the adventure/spell decks, which, while less useful in vanilla given that its harder to avoid the decks, is still a very powerful ability, especially combined with the movement re-roll for free. Also, so excited to see this series back!

Bentham can move anywhere on the board. Aavak can move 1 space. I think a patch came to balance things out, so this arrangement seems fair and balanced.

Since you're playing with new players you should probably turn off the turn timer, if' that's at all possible. I think I remember that it can be changed. Excited to see this come back, though, Talisman was the first thing I watched on this channel.

Dangit Aavak I love this game but have horrible time playing online since it would disconnect way too often. I gave up long ago on playing this multiplayer. On a side note, I would love to get on your discord and hang out more often.
