Taliyah is super good against a lot of meta picks nowadays cuz they all have dashes. Still requires levels though because despite the buffs she still doesn't just autowin lane.

It’s the opposite for me, or was at first. I struggled so much playing her mid until she got changed and became a jungler and I was able to pick her up and learn her pretty quick! Definitely a fun champ

5:32 this is pretty funny cus, here chasing him actually made him leave, if after that last auto he backed off, Talon would probably have not kept running, which would have made it so he didn't regen enough HP passively, so the minion would have killed xD and this is why u should ALWAYS try to run from autos when low HP, u might jsut buy enough time for your passive HP regen to save u

Yeah but you're also wasting time by not dying earlier. Every second you stay alive just to die later means you'll come back later, so you're giving enemy laner time to push their wave in and you lose more minions.

I’m kind of unsure on if unworked ground always gives the max DPS. I was looking at the wiki and saw that the initial rank 5 Q does 130 base + 50% AP with consecutive shards dealing 40% dmg, making the full volley do 338 + 130% AP. The rank 5 boulder does 247 + 95% AP but has half the cooldown. Wouldn’t this mean that the boulder still has more damage per second since you’d be able to cast two within the time you’d be able to do one volley (which is 494 + 190% AP). I think that the even vs monsters, it’s more optimal to have boulders. volleys get 25 + 10% AP bonus dmg to monsters per shard and don’t have the 40% dmg reduction past the first so the full volley would do (338 + 5*25) + (130% + 5*10%) AP or 463 + 180% AP per cast. boulders get 47.5 + 19% AP bonus dmg to monsters so one boulder does (247 + 47.5) + (95% + 19%) AP or 294.5 + 114% AP per cast. half the cd means you get two boulder casts in the time you get one volley so it’d be 589 + 228% AP in the time you get one volley. obv you can’t just create worked ground without doing anything so alternating between volleys and boulders is probably the best practical DPS to monsters.

I think another equally big change to taliyah was the 13.9 buff where they removed her R having a 3sec CD if she had hit anyone recently. so now taliyah can splitpush way better and feel safer in sidelane

yeah but now you can like hit a tower, see someone walk over your blue in the jungle, and instantly ult away if you think you'll be in danger. It's a massive buff to her sidelane. You can't just R out while in combat, but it lets you R out before you ever get in combat. @@ZeeewFFA

@@PekinWoof I think that it’s actually a 13 dmg increase if you land all stones since consecutive stones deal 40% damage according to the wiki. The first would deal 5 extra and the remaining four would deal 2 extra so 5 + (2 * 4) = 13. Big boulder is 190% of the damage of the base Q dmg so it’s buffed by 9.5 dmg. Still is fairly impactful since Q is such a spammable ability and it’s a buff to when she her weakest part of the game.

@@Kmartwastaken I mean, i think it wouldn't work, ahri's base ad is quite low and would make her abilities even less useful that when you have sheen but I guess you could build guinso, botrk, kraken slayer, due to her low attack range she can't make value out of runaan so I guess then rapid fire, phantom dancer and idk last item I don't think it would work quite as well as the ad one because you basically depend on landing charm for killing and that the enemy team doesn't have too many ranged champs

I haven't played it in a while but a few patches ago with statikk it was quite good and while not the most optimal definitely not troll.

Tear on Taliyah is such a waste, LC is more than sufficient to keep your MP high and manaflow band. Also your inexperience definitely showed in the early game, that Thresh gank, when Talon went for you, there was an easy chance to knock him back into your tower. Same with the Zac gank but you booped them away. Liandrys is also a weird decision, you'll have a lot more success with Ludens or Glacial

I think Seraph's was the way to go here. It has the shield against Talon and Zac engage, and the extra mana is good since the enemy team was really tanky and need a lot more casts to kill. It allows him to spam skills without ever worrying about going oom. The natural alternative to Seraph's would be Shadowflame, but it's not good against a tanky team, since it's more of a burst item and gives flat pen.

Liandry was definitely the right call into this team comp. Tear is also pretty good. I think it usually depends on how much gold you have on first back.

@@ender4101 Nah Seraphs is a trap unless you're playing a naturally sturdy champion. Zhonyas is the only thing that will keep you alive against an assassin engage like Talon. Rylais would have been a better option than Seraphs.
