It should work, for the longest time dead champions would have their item's aura's still active after they died near their body, so technically the body is where the champion exists when they die. Whether or not the player will hear it through fog of war is another thing though.

Taliyah x Ekko confirmed! The line is a direct reference to a line in Ernest Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls. The original line "Did the earth move for thee?" was one character asking a woman if she orgasmed during sex. Nowadays it is also used to ask if you have strong feeling for someone. So either she's asking if he likes her too, or they had sex and she's asking if he came too. Either way I ship it.
