The smile on people's faces when he spoke their native languages was so genuine. He brought a bit of their home back to them, and in doing so, warmed their heart. You will be sorely missed, Laoshu. Moreover learning a language is like playing GTA. You can follow the story line and complete it but that completion wont give you as lasting entertainment as the freeroam feature will. I dont want to be a master of any language, i want to build as many bridges as possible, to connect with my community. There are 320,000~ people in my city and less than 50% are white. Learning only a second or third language to fluency wont benefit me enough as learning communicable degrees of various dialects and sub languages.
