The MOMENT someone says "Yeah, but you can't prove it's not there" it's over, vecause they don't have an understanding of what "falsifiable" means even if they understand the word. For those who need to hear it: if there is no way to falsify your claim, there's no way to prove it either. Evidence only works if there is a contrary possibility. I.E. "If I drop this and it falls, gravity is real." can be falsified by it not falling.

Any time someone says they have evidence that God exists, don't waste time talking to them about that claim. There is no evidence that a person can produce. The evidence has to be God himself/ itself/ herself.

I suppose... one problem. You two have not even allowed the guy to present his point. Kenneth mostly has been pushing back wayyyy too hard, pretty much not even allowing the guy to say what he wants to say. Maybe it was the caller's attitude, but i honestly just started hearing some weird things from him, which kinda made me feel intrigued, but didn't really feel "attacked" as an atheist. I wish i could have heard his entire argument because that weirdness kinda looked promising and fun... but you two literally couldn't agree with the caller on ANYTHING :) Listen again now that you're not in the situation anymore... not stressed or whatever was the problem... you couldn't agree on definitions, you couldn't agree on cause & effect, you couldn't entertain any hypothesis that the caller tried to present, not even for the sake of ENTERTAINING IT - having a dialogue! You guys really need to decide whether or not you wish to have a show or not! And by you guys i mean Kenneth :P

While I broadly agree with you about the hosts of these shows not allowing the callers space to embarrass themselves more freely, we certainly heard enough from Xeno here to conclude that he’s engaging merely in silly wordplay and hollow sophistry. He is also a repeat caller so in the meta, the hosts already are aware of his shtick. Moreover, just by the nature of the show itself, the callers will almost exclusively be insane, trolling, or dimwitted, so they do have to be mindful of putting up guardrails to not have things devolve into absolute chaos. I’m sure it’s not an easy thing to gauge on the fly.

Besides, he's presenting his "way of thinking" as "evidence" - like, he's taking hints from reality and other evidence-based observations. But he DID NOT get to arrive at "And therefore, my gods are a reality"! This is what i mostly meant when i said he wasn't allowed to present his case.
