You can tell that Dave was managing safe game. Hoping Flaherty would be lights out or eats some innings with the Dodgers bats coming in hot. I know the whole narrative of the Dodgers is Roberts questionable decision in these games. And of course the struggle of keeping our bullpen being fresh and rested in these games. However if our guys are not hitting, then that has ripple effect on those decisions later in the game. Dodgers just didn’t execute more runs when we had guys in scoring position. It really sucked
