It’s been a bit since you did this and I wanted to see your thoughts now that you’ve had some solid time to determine the pros and cons of this Guarder. I have some, but have not installed them.

So they do push the nozzle up a tiny bit, so if your gas key on your bolt is worn out then it can lead to misfeeds. But in general I've been happy with them, more recoil and more snappy gets my vote every time. If I were you I'd do one of them and see how it goes, if you like the results do the rest.

Hey @ollie. I recently ordered Unicorn gas routers for my mws since they didn't had guarder routers. Please help me with an opinion on these Unicorn Gas Routers or try to find someone that has them. I couldn't find anybody, and i want to know if they are shit so I can cancel the order ASAP. Sorry for this weird request. Im only seeking to make my mws more consistent than it already is.

Maybe they are just higher. the better air sealing, to me, just increase the recoil and gaz efficiency and decrease the cooldown but you will really notice it on a very bad sealing vs good one. Some mag are very bad cause of wobble. I think every mag in every airsoft gbbr should be checked to see if the gab between the route and nozzle is big or not and adjust it with some spacer under it. Bad sealing = silicone oil everywhere even in the bb well and big cooldown.

Once again mate you're spot on. the once extra thing to note though however is that creating the better gas seal actually pushes the bolt up in the receiver and leads to more malfunctions, so eventually this means shimming the top of the bolt/replacing the plastic bit on top OR modifying the mag lips, which I have done. but now thinking I should have shimmed the bolt instead, im doing a video about it.

@@OllieTalksAirsoft Hi Ollie, big fan of your content - you have so much passion for this platform and your videos are always so candid I was wondering that if you and Witcher13 thought it might be the height of the router i.e. slightly higher so better/tighter air seal, do you think the stock routers might be able to modded by filing a mm off of the inner side of it, so the vent up top can portrude a bit higher?

You can look at the rocket valve, either a high flow or an npas, or you would use a slightly stiffer rocket valve spring, that will also increase the FPS.

Merry MWS Christmas matey. With a little tinkering you can easily get 2 full mags from one fill this we know so I wonder why nobody has released an 70/80 round mag. What's your thoughts?

True. The new G&P extended Pmag is out and I think that's 50 rounds but I have no idea how many in it could fire potentially. I'd like to see a stanag with 50 rounds and the gas fill valve on the back of the mag like the prowin versions, then you could have the BBs down the front and across the bottom of the mag allowing for an increased capacity. You may have more luck shimming your existing router. Have a look at my adding more power to your AKM video as I show the shimming process. And it's free!!

So do I to be honest but in the last couple of years I've been more impressed with their stuff, still some crap in there tho. Like the complete Glock lower, that's shit but the polymer frame is actually pretty nice.
