Talking about hook heads on my resin hooks Omni Divit Shilp Furls and my favorite Ophire Co.

A few years ago my hands started hurting when I crochet so I read a few reviews on different crochet hooks at the time Furls was rated high so I purchased just 2, price, this made a tremendous difference. Saved up my money and purchased enough to create my set. I have 2 Odyssey hooks and if they still made them I would get more. The weight of these help my hands. Love your channel. We are all unique in what works best for us.

Thank you for the comparison of these inline hooks. I've been wondering about the differences between the resin hooks and this is really enlightening. I hope your week gets better. I have a 5.5mm resin Furls and it works great when I need to make sure my stitches stay nice and loose.

Omg 😱 I love furls ! Love the all hooks colors and nice review! and I have some furls hooks , I used a lot of times, I never used odyssey hooks, I used only resin hooks and wooden furls hooks ! I love resin more than wooden hooks! Thank you ☺️ “fantastic” video ❤

Thank you for the review. I have used Furls before and like them. I find I have to twist my wrist more to compensate for the sharp head though. All of the hooks you have shown are stunning! I hope your day turns around for you.

On line crochet hooks are my favorite. And I have become to love my ophire hooks over any other. I have yet to try a furls as I can't justify the price they want for one. But the ophire are my absolute favorite for now. I have 4 ranging from 5mm to 6.5mm.

thank you for saying these hooks are inline because i was curious they, re so busy it’s hard to tell what kind of heads they have i’m an addi girl they are the only true tapered hooks out there every thing else is a tapered hybrid besides in line susan bates boys are a hybrid tapered my favorite wooden hooks are caspien we crochet around 40.00 a set the have a large head it’s a bit to get use to and pointy sharp top on the needle there also e laminated so are the dreams and lanter moons elaminated needles every thing just slides off of them they also are providing interchangeable needles now at we crochet thank you kathy s

I hope that things get better for you. I know rough patches happen to everyone, but it’s still miserable when you are in one. I’ve enjoyed your hook week(s) videos so far. I am making a blanket with streamline resin Furls hook. I find it nice to work with, but I do understand why the head bothers you.

Funny I was just about to pull the trigger on a set of Furls but the price made me pause and do more research. I've always seen Furls online and thought one day I would treat myself to a set. But after watching 3 comparison videos, it seems like Ophire Co. may actually be the better hook. And it's not as expensive! 🥳

@@stefflores Everyone is different, but Ophire is it for me. If you can, try purchasing one hook of whatever set you are eyeing to make sure you won’t be wasting your money. It is also good just to have different types of hooks. I do not always just use Ophire. Someday I would like to try Furls metal streamline. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I believe you were looking for Cinnamon at the beginning… she’s how I found ommi, divit and you as well which I’m grateful for! I love that you show ALL the hooks!😁 I love the Odyssey Hooks for the weight. They’re discontinued now so I had to switch to the streamline metals, which I just got this week so I have yet to try. I want the Nautilus just because it’s so gorgeous as I’ve mentioned to you before, but I’d be excited to try any of those cause I’ve never used a resin hook at all so thanks for your time as well and the giveaways! I haven’t used a furl yet so not sure if I would like their style, all of the different brand hooks are all so lovely. A friend in my local knitting/crochet loves furls and recommends them often.

I agree on several things you said 😊 First of all I am a total Clover amour 🤍🤎girl to start with ahah they are my GO to hooks, I know they will provide me smooth and fast sailing no matter the project not the yarn they never fail me, that's why I also wish furls made their hook heads a bit differently like you said the lip a bit shorter I would totally prefer that too, maybe because I am used to clovers I don't know. However that being said I still own several Furls too, not the entire line but I do have several of their Galaxy Andromeda hooks and also their ebony wood hooks, because I fell in love with the colours of the Andromeda gonna be honest 😅🤍 and their ebony hooks are the only wooden hooks that I used with some specific yarns and liked :) Same goes for Andromeda resin hooks I only use them with specific yarns not all because sadly they don't do it for me with all the yarns. So if I want a fast and smooth project I still go to my Clover amour hooks, but sometimes if I want to use a pretty hook and the yarn is not catching too much I'll go with a Furls :)
