Yes Derek. I know a couple more idioms: - we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. - a stitch in time saves 9 - (extra one) to be in the dog house. - (extra two) to be up the creek (without a paddle).

I find it to write an essay in english Please gimme advice and help me how can learn easily to write an essay Best regards
@derekcallan-englishforpros4 жыл бұрын
Essays can be quite hard. My advice: Make sure you have a clear thesis statement in your introduction (1-2 sentneces that express the main idea of your essay). The main part of your essay (the body) should be clearly structured into paragraphs. Each paragraph should focus on one part of your thesis statement. For example, if your thesis statement mentions three main areas, then have 3 paragraphs in your body. Also make sure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence (a sentence which expreses the main idea of the paragraph - again all linked back to the thesis statment in your introduction). Finish your essay with a conclusion where you should also rephrase the thesis statment you made in your introduction. Hope this helps
