@VengfulDeathCow but you can watch all those videos on the NHL app itself, along with pre and post game interviews with coaches and players. I love this channel. He doesn't favor anyone team over another, there's no being partial to teams because they are his "teams". (Like the NHL tv channel usually shows favoritism for teams that are winning.) Even if sometimes I don't agree with everything, you need to at least listen to other's opinions on teams and their play, because you yourself may be the impartial one. I watch your (thg) videos daily now. Several times throughout my day. I read a lot on the NHL app, and opponent's team page the day before and after game interviews. I find it interesting and it an enjoyable way to spend my time. I watch the games too, as long as they are not really late (I miss a lot of Pacific division team games and some Canadian teams, mostly the Western Conference team's games) I will still watch the highlights the next day, even if I do watch the game or not. I like hockey podcasts too. I guess I just love the game of hockey. I know it annoys my husband, lol. But wth, he says I should turn my phone off... all the time. But I don't listen to that. Anyhow THG, we all appreciate the time you take to make your videos!!! Don't ever stop, at least until you can find someone to take this channel over, like a son, or someone who can make it as great as you have!!!

It's interesting about being expendable at a job. I work at a school for students with autism and I'm incredibly lucky that they really do care about their employees. More so than any job I've ever had before. But at the end of the day the school will go on long after I'm gone. Great lyric by the band Flogging Molly... "We buried four workmen They dug themselves well From four empty coffins, to four early graves They're only paddys, just paddys Don't dig them too deep You'll need all your strength boys And they're replaced easily" Pretty much any job.

Hey Shannon, I just wanted to thank you for this amazing video. Actually, I come here for hockey, I subscribed here for hockey, but now I also get a pure and deep life knowledge/wisdom video with many priceless thoughts. All of it clad in your unmistakable sense of sarcasm/irony. Not many people on youtube dare to be so honest about the daily routine of being a youtuber, especially in terms of the monetary rewarding and the system as a whole. I love your humility, gratefulness, dedication and humor. This video is a TOP and Im convinced your potential reaches far beyond hockey in terms of content, but please do not take this too seriously, as we need our NHL source to stay unlimited :). Im switching jobs in a two months time and (analytics/toxicology product management - gas chromatography product management) have to admit i did not have the real perspective regarding the "job hapiness" until now. Thank you again, for sharing these special and actually pretty private details of your past. Im going to watch this video again from time to time, I guess. Also, the last 30 seconds are amazing, the great final. Please, whether you hesitated with this one before making/uploading, do not the next time. There are few of us, who will eagerly listen even if its not hockey :) .... and maybe even be so impressed to overcome the laziness and write a comment.

I really wanted to thank you for everything you have done over the past few years. You have worked your ass off to bring us news and updates, not to mention great lists, power rankings, history videos, career videos, etc. You have an incredible sense of humor, sometimes I laugh like crazy at little bits of dry humor that you throw in very often, and not many of them get past me without a laugh. I have always watched as many of your videos as I could, and ever since finding your channel, I've grown as a hockey fan because I'm able to look at it non-objectively to an extent. I no longer harbor hatred for teams or countless players, I'm able to watch a game and enjoy it without losing my temper, and I'm able to appreciate teams and players I never would have before, when I was an immature and very intense homer hockey fan, that really took everything too seriously when it involved my team. I mean I could probably amount this to maturing in my own life as well, but you pointed me in the right direction, because I saw the kind of sports fan in you that I wanted in me. I didn't want to be angry watching my team. And I found a way to become that person, through watching your videos.

So glad you've found success with your channel. By far the best hockey content that isn't made by a media giant. I'm sure I don't only speak for myself when I say it's refreshing to hear from someone who isn't trying to tow the line for some other entity. Wouldn't change a thing about your channel other than to add a podcast, which again I'm sure a lot of other people want as well. if there's no one local you can video conference if that's not to high falutin for ya!
