For those of you who demand a return to the old 10 minute format: I urge you to go watch episodes 15 to 20 of season 2 and compare it to the season 3 episodes and consider which are better. Oh wait, you can't because lolcopyright. Sure, Simon could go back to that format but the moment he does so he'll get more copyright strikes and have his channel taken away.

Every KZbinr needs a video like this one. I see it way too often. "I subscribed for Xxx." "We're the ones that make you popular." "We pay your bills by giving you views" All that tone deaf crap from people with no respect, an inflated sense of self-worth, and a lack of logic. It's tiresome, rude, and the majority wouldn't say it to your face. They wouldn't go to a play and in the second act yell at the performers that they should change but they do it here in anonymity.

I go with the flow. I watch reactions because I get a high off of a reactors happiness and personality. I subscribed to you because you watch some of the same shows I do. I don't care how much your channel changes I stay subscribed because you seem like a sane,kind, understanding bloke. The worlds gone completely mental. KZbin reactions are a great way to spread joy,happiness, and enthusiasm. I'll watch them in any form you give them.

Hey Simon I just wanted to comment and let you know I think your doing a amazing job with the avatar videos even with all the problems you have had you are staying with it and I really appreciate that I have only been hear a few months but in my time here on the channel I have had a blast watching your videos I have a small channel my self and you inspire me doing it a few videos back I asked you what you use for editing and you got back to me with it and it's helped a lot thank you again for that and thanks overall for the content you have done and are continuing to do keep it up ignore the haters as best you can hope all is well and have a great day :-)

Simon I love your channel I haven't visited as much after the ending of the Clone wars videos. I'm not a fan of avatar so i haven't been watching them. But I love your Vlogs and other content. Your a great youtuber and you have every right to run your channel the way you want. For those who dont like the format. Simply dont watch. Simon keep up the great work with the channel. Hopefully you can do some Rebel reactions for season 3.

kibert135 I appreciate the recommendation. I'm just not into it. I'm not a big fan of animation. I'm just a huge Star Wars fan. If clone Wars and Rebels didn't have anything to do with Star Wars. I probably wouldn't watch them either. Oh but I also watch the new Voltron series on netflix as well. But i grew up watching Voltron as a kid. So it's easier to get into that show.

I do think that the current format is more professional. And that's the issue: in my opinion, a reaction video should be more raw, unscripted reactions. Don't get me wrong, I *do* like the current format, I would just enjoy the pure-reaction format just a little bit more.

you know what? do what works for you, simon. these avatar reactions have been a pain (from an uploading standpoint. screw viacom.) and i hope that it hasn't ruined your experience of the show. it sucks that fans are being too overbearing towards how you do the reactions. you would do the whole episode if you could, but you've been backed into a corner and you're doing your best with what you can. i mean you're still seeing the episode, and i like hearing more of your thoughts. keep it up, man. :)

Disclaimer: to be honest, I haven't ever watched the Avatar series, so your react videos of them don't directly relate to me since I haven't watched them either. HOWEVER. This is a good talk. It's great that you realize that sometimes, someone doesn't like your content and that can manifest as constructive criticism, unsubscriptions and dislikes and that's fine. But once people start - as your title says - feeling entitled to dictate you channel's direction, well, that's clownshoes crazy. I guess I'm saying I think it's cool that you're open to ALL the good kinds of criticism, even if that is sometimes ultimately detrimental to your channel's sub/like numbers. Very mature. Plenty of other, bigger react channels that think that criticism by itself is some sort of dissent against the creator themself.

I'm one of those who preferred the old way at first (now i've seen 3x02 and i'm getting used to it and starting to like it) i guess i'm kind of loath to changes hahaha so! i wrote this comment on the avatar 3x01 about how i didn't like it. just gave my opinion, respectfully and friendly. not even asked him to change it back. But after i sent it i erased it.. i don't know i just read it and felt kind of bad. i guess if i made a video and someone don't like it i would prefer people not watching it and just that. i mean, it's his decision how he wants to make his videos, and he looked excited with this new "experiment", i just thought it mas mean of me.. now, after reading some comments i realize my comment was the most innocent and friendly thing ever hahaha no but seriously, it's unbelievable how childish and disrespectful people can me!

Well if this is all about the dislikes and the comments on your new format....you should learn to just accept this if you don't want to hear to critics. That's YT, if someone doesn't like what he's watching, the dislike button is the way to say it and sometimes will put his opinion in the comments. Just people that are sad that Vaicom is a dick and hope you find some other way...and if not they will keep saying it for a while and than they will just go away. Will take some time but this is the way YT works. Nobody is here to bull on you, even those who dislike do it, just because they enjoyed the old content and hope to be able to change your mind. If you don't want to listen to those thats fine, but you then just have to accept the dislikes and comments for some time ^^ A nice speech which you can summarize in "this is my stuff and I do what I want" doesn't change that...If you don't want to handle critics, then just let it be ^^

You'd prefer to not do reactions at all in the first place, because you dont feel theyre original enough? My Name Is Simon​ Oh I had a much longer comment I was going to submit instead, with all the other things I had to say. But it was getting to be too long, and it was super early in the morning for me, so I scrapped it and just wrote this one point instead. Some of the things you said in the video I agree with, others I don't. Obviously the stuff about seeing it constantly and on unrelated content, no one but an asshole would disagree. But at the same time, did you think everyone would be fine with this format already, by the second episode? You should have expected backlash for the first few episodes at least. And honestly, you're probably going to keep seeing it from other people, as you slice up all the amazing episodes in this season down to a couple minutes each. Youve chosen a very unpopular format, I don't think you'll hear the end of it that quickly. (Although I've said my piece, I won't be commenting such things anymore.) You still seem to misunderstand the intentions of people like me. No one is acting out of entitlement or trying to force you into doing something. At least, I'm not. You said yourself you don't mind people saying that they don't like the format, and even disliking the video. Well that's precisely what I'm doing, only in a more specific and thorough manner. And I thought that your fans' opinions held some sway with the Captain. But it seems, that instead of offering some form of middle ground, like doing the no AV format for the finale episodes or something, you'd rather plant your feet and make the decision entirely yourself, not considering the feedback from your fans. You say you hear us, you say you're not ignoring us. But what are you doing to show this? Surely you want to provide content that doesn't enrage your long-time fans. Please, if you do hear us and you do care about your audience, provide some form of middle ground so we don't have to abandon ship. Because none of us want to abandon ship, or argue. We just want to watch ATLA together with our favourite reactor ;-; We're not demanding, we're pleading.

Why does the format i chose enrage anyone? If you are angry at my content then you have problems, there will be no middle ground, this is not a negotiation, this is my channel, my decisions and if they are unpopular then so be it. You say you are not acting out to entitlement but your comments contradict you "we don't appreciate being cut out of these decisions" sorry you do not get any say in the decisions i make, you can voice your opinion or make a suggestion but i am not obligated at all to follow it. People seem to think if they continue to comment saying the format is awful that i will change my mind, i won't. Also, you state it is majorly unpopular yet they still get as many views, the likes outweigh the dislikes (i don't buy what you said about fans not wanting to down vote) and there is still plenty of supportive feedback from people, as much as those saying they don't like it. This is the format, it's not changing, if you do not enjoy it then it may be best to not watch it.
