I'm overweight and didn't realize such a product existed until a few weeks ago. My daughter has been showing interest in skating and it's been hard to show her things without being able to step on her board for fear of breaking it. Ordered my first flight deck last week, tracking says it should be here today. Very excited to do my first ollie in about 20 years!!!

I agree, the flight decks allow for so much more possibility, even if you're not the type to typically break a lot of boards, and the way they hold their pop makes it hard to go back to a regular 7 ply. I just wish they had an 8 that was otherwise exactly like the one Andy is showing here. The 8"options all have very small nose and tail and practically no concave. Makes me wonder if there's some reason like maybe the carbon fiber layers don't bend that way?

I have to start skateboarding again at 56 , first time on a board when I was 5 in 72 made my own skateboard for me it's was speed. Just a blank of wood square and children's roller skates & nails

i love the andy eggs and tell my friends looking for a wider board to check them out wish they would make your wheels in a 99a and xformula and the egg in maybe a size smaller but need to try the new shape maybe one day although the my deck now is starting to get a few chunks from the chips love the new ideas coming outta the powell camp

Flight decks are one of the few boards that stay strong long after they look haggered and beat up. Nose and tail bashed up? No problem still poppy. I just wish the wheel base was a bit shorter on their standard flight decks. A wider board doesn't need to be longer! Lol love ya guys though.❤

Stuff like the heron and egg shaped boards have more than one width but it’s an 8.5… 8.5 where? Middle or near nose and tail? Imo boards with varying sizes on the same exact deck should have all measurements stated, and not just one.
