Why not ask the hard questions or allow read my message? Why are rates so low we should make at least $1.00/m and long tries should be an additional $2.00 for every 3 miles not this adjusted up front because it’s still too low! But over all thanks for the video and communication with Lyft. It does help us move forward, but I’m so concerned about the mileage on my car does not add up anywhere near the amount of money is being paid.

I did an Uber ride out of the Indianapolis airport on Sunday took a young lady to Bloomington Indiana it's approximately 60 minutes at about 50 mi I have paid $45 and she paid $90.

Sergio - on those minimum fare trips, what did the pax pay? But you’re absolutely right the minimum fare ubder$4 is ridiculous. The minimum fare needs to be at least $5. I just priced a trip from my house to the Walmart less than a mile away and the fare was $10. Right now I am in a $1 bonus zone. I bet this trip would pay about $4 here.

The other day,I waited for a Lyft passenger for the mandatory 6 mins,then called them,no answer.Then hit the no-show button,Lyft payed $2.15c no show fee.

Lyft rates are low in Omaha also, I'm not sure why Lyft is taking half of fare. More riders yes but drivers get screwed, more work, less pay. How is this going to encourage more drivers we still struggle to get gas and maintain maintenance of our vehicles.

If you want to improve transparency the first thing you do is get rid of the nefarious algorithm and go back to paying me by the mile and the minute with a minimum trip of say $5 I can live with that.

18:25 He is flat-out lying here if drivers earnings where keeping pace with cost of living and inflation than driver satisfaction wouldn't be so low period. Their insurance costs are supposed to come out of their 30% take and have nothing to do with the time and distance charged to customers that drivers are supposed to make and they have the data on drivers behaviors, If they have concerns about the cost of insurance raise the minimum age to drive on the platform and cut any driver who routinely speeds enroute to or during trips. Alternatively they could cut their take rate to 5% and require drivers to get their own commercial insurance.

As soon as he said that, he grew up in the trailer park. I knew that this was going to be an evasive response with fake sympathy for the drivers. People like this guy. You have to be direct, to the point, and call him out on it. It's one of the reasons that i like the 'rideshare professor' because he doesn't change up when talking to these guys. There's a time and place to be passive. This isn't one of them. The guy's not real. He adjusted his conversation in order to look like he's all about the drivers. Like a politician.Thankfully, social media has given us a voice. Because each time they try to sell you their b.s. it affects their stock. And this is the only reason why they do these interviews.

Lyft no show fee in Chicago needs to be increased to $4 for 5 min wait. This 7 min wait nonsense is BS and they need to stop penalizing drivers for canceling. Lyft should get none of the no show money.

Customers in my market tell me Lyft is cheaper than Uber and Uber has not raised their prices in my market since 2020 so clearly he is lying about earnings keeping pace with inflation.

Moving on to the examples Sergio showed the guy. I'll add that Chris still has not said a single word. Why is he involved on screen if he doesn't participate? So after showing the guy the $2 and $3 rides he says over and over that "its a balance to find the right price for the driver and rider and we are constantly working on it." TOTAL BULLSHIT. IF that was true then for some period of time the 2.30 rides would never show up but yet they always show up. The longer this goes on it looks like RSG is kissing his ass to get more interviews rather than advocating for the driver harder.

I wanted to give your guest the benefit of the doubt. I like him, but the "wanting to help the mother working 29 hours at the grocery store that can't make ends meet"? It's such B.S.! If you have a 29 hr/week grocery store job in Southern California, ask your boss to give you 10 more hours at minimum wage? Why would you drive Lyft? Even if you were lucky enough to make minimum wage for a few hours-they aren't paying for your gas, wear and tear and insurance you might actually use. I'm a life long Democrat and this guy makes me sad and realize it's just a talking game.

Going into the last question, Sergio shows a drivers cost for the year. After showing the graph Jeremy goes "oh I can't really see it" then goes and bullshits for multiple minutes. This guy is a con artist and he is a scumbag. Nothing he said entices me to drive. Nothing. I will say that towards the end of the interview Sergio starting getting some balls and pushing back on the bullshit but still didn't fight enough imo. One last time Chris didn't say anything so why is he here? I had more faith in RSG than this. Lyft is full of BS like Uber and if you drive for them don't bitch bc they show you constantly they don't care about drivers at all except to con you into driving for pennies.
