Seeing this scene now versus a year ago, you can see how overall the animation has been really cleaned up and the character models look so much better. 💕

Damn, I really love the comparison between the current patch (5) and this one! The voice acting, the mimiks and the movements are so much more impressive!

So it looks like Cazador might not have sent the Monster Hunter at all- at least not directly- and it could in fact be part of his past as a corrupt (and it seems very racist) magistrate coming to get him. The way it's specified that this is a sacred mission and he's supposed to capture Astarion and bring him back to the tribe is certainly interesting. I like that Astarion was probably a bastard before he was turned, flips the cliche on it's head. Excited to see where his story goes.

Can you even get that far without his reveal normally? lol I hadn't even recruited Wyll yet and he already was revealed to be one

You can! The only thing that triggers the reveal is finding the dead pig on the road. If you don't do that, then you won't know that he's a vampire at that point.
