I think there's a little bit of a stigma, both from new and old players, in the community when hearing the word "siege". I think it's mainly due to siege commanders in the early game only used for farming. Now someone fresh into KvK 3 looks at all the commanders available and let's be honest, a very small amount think about investing in engineering right off the bat. It's really nice for content creators such as Mr. SIege to pave the way towards the new generation of RoK players in regards to the engineering commanders; bringing the commanders more to the spotlight of the open field meta. I was listening in the video that the AoE can slow down targets, now wouldn't Margaret's Cage of Thorns from the support tree further amplify that slow down on the AoE? Would Richard's tyrannical lion instant debuff be effective with the engineering commander? Thus bringing even more utility to the open field and not just a "selfish" march that rakes up KP (as some may say), in my opinion. Anyways, something more on the offtopic, I think the engineering is meant to represent real-life artillery warfare. Finally moving past the age of swords and bows. It's a pretty interesting slow transition of the game albeit slow.

I'm an experienced trapper, what i mean by that i am am very good at building high siege accounts. I have been asking the game devs for many years to give us siege commanders. I am super happy to finally be able to build an account of this type

21:50 Counter attacks generate 16 rage at base, so every time the V-formation march shoots an approaching march, the approaching march gains at least 16 rage. They will keep this rage while approaching as long as they don't leave combat. If you use Silent Trial on your V-formation march, their rage gain is reduced by 10-13 rage per attack.

For anyone who wants to do even 1 siege march, weigh it properly on overall use in rallies, ark, canyons, garrison, rare game events, kvks etc. not just because you can just post it safe and do kps.

I created a new character a month ago and I'm running siege from min 0 with Matilda stats, saving heads for the enginering commanders in future and having some fun meanwhile

If someone is new f2p siege is the best option. With singe march the kill point will be unbelievable. It will take one year to make the full legendary equipment. With low power what one siege march player can have kill point will be helpful for kingdom too. Gonzalo will be everlasting like Ysg. Actually he is the ysg of seige. Max him and wait for the next siege commander. If they are not good enough then Margaret is the option.

I’ll be working on my siege next. I think it’s very useful when fighting on territory. Why can’t the dev just convert all integration commanders to engineering. Integration is redundant to leadership anyways.

All they have to do is add an event similar to Kiera's to allow all players to get even just an epic siege commander. Personally, I'm hoping we get an Engineer Matilda Prime that pairs well with Matilda's siege health and troop capacity.

It could be used for map control by a whale, 7 marches all protecting the siege march while never having to leave alliance territory, like holding a bridge for example

hmmm thats an interesting perspective... I hadn't considered when joan secondary to huo her skills getting kills wouldn't trigger the effect... I assumed it was the march getting kills itself... but I run huo william anyway for the cheaper skill cost. nice to see you try the siege march... I literally just crafted the gear last week thanks to MrSiege's vidz on my alt to experiment in kvk before trying on main😅

I wonder if Lillith will make all new inf/cav/archer coms trash so players can save up gold heads and finally invest into a siege March. It would make a lot of sense to me especially if Lilltih wants to shift siege into the meta.

@@sophos.891 Don't be stingy, Hire some pilots to cover your kvk they aren't expensive. And each players must have at least 15 farms - 25 farms. Unless Lilith reduce the healing costs of resources. The numbers of farms will always increase. Play with your brain.

To be honest siege is introdused for low spenders and f2p players. Big spenders won't be satisfied using it. You can't control one siege using 5 march. Lilith finally made a shortcut way for f2P and small cap playes to close the gap with big players.

hope they nerf seige to the ground, it would be so bad for the game if it gets popular. Worst mechanic they ever added, like what they thinking you can trigger active skill but they can't???
