I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been feeling increasingly sick at heart from all of this. 30+ years in law, most of it federal, some DOJ, some local judicial district prosecution. I’ve always had faith in the law, but I’ve never before felt such dread, such fear about the very last-ditch stopgaps to complete lawlessness- and their ability to hold under such a sustained onslaught. It is so awful and surreal to see this.

Following the actions of Judge Aileen Cannon, it’s clear the Judicial branch has become increasingly corrupt, we are all aware that it’s a slow process to bring justice but given the lack of impartiality displayed and in light of the recent revelations of impending job offer bestowed upon this Judge, you would believe that the wheels of justice would turn a little faster in order to maintain Order.

I cried when the SCOTUS didn't rule the orange traitor insurrectionist ineligible for POTUS in the Colorado case. Somewhat because of the nightmare I knew was coming, but also in large part because that meant we no longer had a legitimate SCOTUS in this country. I have said for several years that the judicial system would save the country from the orange criminal, and it was that point where I realized I might be wrong. Now, if the orange nightmare is elected, we have only the military left to save us, and I sincerely hope we don't have to come to that.

We must accept that those well-connected with the judicial system will be treated completely different from those less fortunate, The US judicial system is one of the harshest in the world. The DA s office is well funded with teams of investigators and back up staff while the Public Defenders office is basically allowed only to make plea deals even though with good attorneys and funds for some competent investigators, their clients could easily be found not guilty. It's easier for most people to spend a year in jail than incur over $200,000 in legal fees. So when Mr Trump and his corrupt cronies are never held accountable, we should take it on the chin and just accept that this is the way of the real word. . However, If we can somehow keep Trump out of the White House, that would alleviate some of the corruption, and we would all feel a little better.

Is it true that there is a list and she is on it? Probably. Did she reveal that list and that she knew when she dismissed the case she would be rewarded? Not according to your actual report. I don't like her so I can believe it but you are not in fact presenting evidence that she did. Do some digging if you want to be reporters and not editorial page explainers - which by the way you are actually good at aside from your misleading headlines and tendency to put words and opinions into people's mouths (especially judges) .
