Talks on Sri Ramana Maharshi: Narrated by David Godman - Virupaksha Cave

Ramana Maharshi stayed in Virupaksha Cave from around 1902 until 1915, when he moved to Skandashram, further up the slopes of Arunachala. In this film I talk about the saint after whom the cave is named and narrate a few key stories from the years when this was Bhagavan's principal residence.

I visted this cave 3 days back . If I would have got access to this video before visiting the cave , I would have more enjoyed the trip.

+Venkat Raman Yes, Bhagavan commented on that as well. The original story came from Akhilandamma who was present when it happened. The president of Ramanasramam gave us permission to use any of the old photos in the archives. Many of them have never appeared in any published form before.

Advaita Vedanta is not the truth. Easy to fool the amateur. Only Theravada Buddhism is the Truth. Why? Because in Advaita Vedanta , there's a concept of a Self as the source. Which is wrong. That self is not Nirvana or has any relations with Theravada Buddhism.
