Most unprepared interviewer EVER! Had to shut this down. Love Ted for being so patient with your not checking simple facts like what your guest did I his career!!

Now I am watching him talking about water pumps requiring electricity and that is another issue that happened in Florida after Hurricane Irma. It was weeks before anyone had potable water because there were not enough generators to run the water utility pumps. We got electricity back long before we had potable water. It also caused sewer and water backups and floods in some neighborhood’s homes.

Not sure the background of the interviewer... but not impressed by his research or quality of questions. Koppel was always sharp as a tack... so nice to see him still sharp.

Koppel should have at some point held a position in the federal government. His experience, wisdom, insight, objectivity and collected demeanor would be an asset to the country.

Ted is excellent as always. However, that interviewer -- most unprofessional and unprepared!

Ted is light years in quality above the journalists out there now. He must be laughing in his head at this guy.

When people pass laws based on faulty government opinion or paid research, then things become a "partisan issue" when they ought to be actual science instead of religion.

I was seriously thinking of buying Lights Out until this interview. It sounds like Ted advocates for one "accepted" source of news. Too bad, most if not all televised media is one-sided and so, slanted, including his beloved ABC.

+Odie yama Get the book, his sources are multiple government and civilian agencies. It's worth the read, an eye opener on how unorganized we are and doing really nothing about the threat. It is almost comparable to our intelligence with 911. Here we know the weaknesses yet are doing nothing to patch the weaknesses.
@larryjohnson1507 жыл бұрын
Odie yama you seriously missed the point of this whole interview, who gives a shit what his views are? The things he is saying about the power grid are 100% correct, buy his book at least just to inform yourself of what may be coming.

There are so many sources on the topic of Preparedness and have sooooooo many going. I seriously did not miss the point.

odieyama ok, glad to hear it, I just think this guys book is a good place for people to start who have no idea about it since hes a public figure but yeah, to me its really weird he chose to focus on cyber attacks and completely ignore emp or solar flares or any of the other ways Americas grid is vulnerable. If you want some entertaining/sad/scary reading check out One Second After or Going Home by A. American, both books are the first in really good series.

Odie yama Yeah, he's advocating for media to tell the truth. There is only one set of facts. If media would stick to being honest, and telling ppl the truth about the facts. Instead of each different source spewing their "Opinion" on the facts. We would all be better off. The msm, and a lot of online media are not truthful about the facts. And that's on both sides of aisle.
