This is part of what has become a consistent pattern with Rashford. Whenever the criticism comes to a boil, he either hires a camera crew to make a video for social media, or he runs to a journalist for a softball fluff piece. What any proper player would do is keep his head down and do his talking on the pitch. Rashford hasn't done that for about 18 months now. Instead of meeting the challenge the new manager has put to him, he folds and wants to leave. Absolutely pathetic if you ask me.

Rashford’s ‘woe is me’ attitude is embarrassing. He failed to rise to Amorim’s challenge, ignored chances to show he cared, and even needed to be told to clap the away fans. He’s shown no respect for the club or fans, and his lack of fight and hunger makes you wonder if all the good he did off the pitch was just a smokescreen. He’s finished as a player, we deserve far better. I only hope there’s no truth in the rumour of his mate Pogba returning!

are you claiming the only way a player "performs" is through goals? he has averaged a goal/assist every 140min he is on the field for his entire career playing at the highest level of football throughout in a struggling United team weaker in other positions. that's 2 in 3 games plus 10 min - averaged through entire career. last season United's defence was battered for injuries and centre midfield desperately needed a holding upgrade. do you seriously expect Rashford to be able to do anything about that? Do you seriously expect him to score the same when the team aren't building enough chances by dominating possession Before you call him lazy - look at his distance covered stats compared to other players

Its a manipulative play by Rashford. Think about it.. What did he actually say.. Did he say he's leaving? Did he say he's staying? He goes to a reporter who he knows. The fact the reporter says Rashfords goal/game ratio is 1 in 3 shows u how biased he is and how he plays with words. Rashford has 87 Prem goals in 287 Prem games. Zero hatricks. Some braces. Thats over 200 Premier league games where he has NOT scored. Dropped out the squad. Told to train on a Sunday. Instead of pulling up his socks and focusing what does he do, the very next day he runs to a reporter he knows. Oh, and btw.. Rashford earns £350K per week... Over £15M every year.. Henry Winter has said it was a pre planned interview, that got delayed a week. Rashford made sure it was at that school
@boreilly826 сағат бұрын
Rashford said all of this to Winter BEFORE he was dropped. BEFORE. Let that sink in.

Just take Maguire as an example. Its nothing personal and all about how you perform on the pitch. Maguire was making mistake after mistake and getting slaughtered by fans and now for the last 2/3 months no one is saying a bad word about him because he is PERFORMING ON THE PITCH. Rashford takes everything personal and to heart and doesn't change his work ethic on the pitch. If sprinted around until he had nothing left, then every fan would clap and applaud him. He's doing this to himself.

You have to see this from Amorim's point of view. This story tells me that Ruben Amorim is 100% dedicated to Manchester United and he wants his future to be at MUFC. Therefore, he will not carry passengers that may impact his desire to remain the Manager of MUFC for a very long time. Ruben Amorim will be ruthless in culling the players of the Ole years and anyone else who thinks they can destroy Ruben's career. He is a genius.

Guys stop complaining please. He's said that his family would be able to look him in the eyes and said he's not changed. So he's not going to change. He's not going to run or work hard. Mind you, new challenge doesnt mean he's going to change. He's asking for a new manager again

He'll still be there in 2yrs. Who gonna pay those wages for 8 goals a season. He got a challenge at man u. Get back in da team and push on. Too busy watching basketball in America

It's not a case of jumping before being pushed here. It's a case of Rashford not having the character to knuckle down. He hasn't got the chops to train harder. He's got mentally and physically lazy. We need to get rid. Faster the better.

The point is that Rashford may well think he’s bigger than the manager. With that level of arrogance how can he respect Amorim? We need more players like amad. Time for Marcus to move on I wish him all the best

I don't understand what's going on with Rashford, he's so privileged to be paid millions a month to play football for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Anyone else would give it their all and show up with a positive attitude. Is this about him getting hassled about his charity work? If it is, just suck it up, delete your social media and just get on with doing the job you're paid to do. I have zero sympathy for this man who's wasting a golden opportunity to do something good with his boyhood club.

Rashford and his PR team have a degree in gaslighting and playing the victim. Just get rid of him as we’re bored of listening to his name constantly

Rashford's petty ego on full show here..In itself not a bad thing,we all make dodgy choices to cover embarrasment cos he called out publicly by his new manager..48 hours later rashford/his pr team are at it full on at a childrens xmas event creating a narrative..Zero to do with football and his greatly overpaid job at Man u... The door was left open for him to accept the challenge..He's pretty much closing it... Ruben again saying take me up on the challenge here.. However He's made it clear it's not about Rashford that's for all.. Message is get with my squad or go!

Rashford was misunderstood, he meant a new challenge at the club
@yungcana8 сағат бұрын
Or perhaps this is his way of dealing with the inevitable and letting go of the pressures you’ve all put him under so he can focus on his game. There has always been a talented and hardworking player in him, and we’ve all witnessed it. Only a few players leave United and go on to have successful careers, but I’ll bet my bottom dollar Marcus will be one of them!

How many games have we seen, where 15 mins in you suddenly realize Rashford is playing. It feels like he gives minimal effort and doesn't care any more if he puts on a United shirt. Like the caller stated, he just doesn't work hard.
