excellent review mate; the fact you let us know how tall you are is brilliant....many 'reviewers' don't tell us this all-important detail; i'm 6'2" so this is must for me and i figure the wind will still hit the top of the helmet but at least it will be above visor height; and it's well priced which is always a bonus. i'm thinking i'll get the centre stand as well; it'll save having to find a log when a flat tyre happens. I ordered the centre stand but it hasn't come in yet and I was having second thoughts about needing it, but after cleaning and lubing my chain I changed my mind. Not that it's hard to spin the wheel by leaning it on the stand, but because it was annoying getting up and down and leaning the bike over whilst reaching down for the rear tyre to spin it many times.

@@outie555 yes, having the centre stand on a bike is all kinds of useful; i was happy to see CFmoto had it as an option; leaning a bike over on its side stand is not only a hassle but also leads to bending the stand; i highly recommend getting yourself a decent hydraulic bike lift; they make shed life so-much easier.

Fully agree with you - my partner and I both have the tall windscreen. I keep mine at 4 notches up - it allows me perfect above-windscreen visibility of the road, whilst also preventing top of helmet buffeting. She keeps hers all the way down and we both have zero 'top of helmet' buffeting. There is some wind noise coming from the side of the helmets (we have GT-AIR 1s which are very wide/big) but the helmet isn't shaking so the windscreen is doing its job. I wish it was a little wider but I don't know for sure whether the wind comes from the front windscreen or whether it comes from the forks/tank area yet. Tall windscreen is a must imo. On the Africa Twins the buffeting was actually coming from the tank area gaps, and there was a person who made an addon to prevent the wind from there. Overall, riding at 80kmph the bike has zero wind issues. Above 85, the wind issues (side-wind I guess) does start to get a bit noticeable but this isn't a Goldwing or some Road King with massive screen. I'm happy with the tall screen!

Bought it from cfmoto as an optional accessory when I preordered the bike. From all reports you can get the same from AliExpress and it will be quicker as CFMOTO are a bit behind in getting their accessories out there to the customers.

Thanks for the very good explanation video. I wonder how the wind affects your shoulders. Do you get much wind in shoulders even with the tall screen? Does the taller one make more unstable the front at 120 km/h or so?

Don't feel the wind on my shoulder, just my helmet on both screens. Better with the tall one and I ended up removing the peaked visor from my adventure helmet.

@@outie555 I've just tested the MT! Amazing!.Specially the engine. Gearing is definetlly very sort for road. Suspension with stock settings its kind of rude at hig speed (>80 kmh). It gets better when you slow dow but if you hit a bump at say 90 kmh its a direct kick in yor ash! I wonder if feel the same and if you have tried different suspension settins. Regards from Spain

It seems to me that for the first test (short windshield) the windshield is in the lower position..If I am right, did you try and raise it ?

Nice for touring, but if you plan on off road riding be very careful. Tall screens are dangerous as you lean forward over the bars they can give a good whack in the face or neck!

@@outie555 Careful off road riding negates this. Take the risk and enjoy the benefit. There are windshield extenders that are also available on e bay that can easily make your ride far more comfortable if doing any type of extended highway use- angle them upward and forward- makes the bike more enjoyable, particularly if listening to music on wi fi or chatting on your phone with Bluetooth receiver.

@@outie555 just lower the tall screen when you get into some semi-serious off-road; you most likely wont be getting above 60-70K's anyway...and of-course you'll be standing in the attack position; if ya travelling at speed on dirt roads and something goes not-as-planned, the screen is going to be the least of your problems.

At 4 notches, you have perfect visibility above the windscreen - the camera here is located way lower than your eyes, you won't have any issues on the highway looking over the windscreen.

@@TheMisterNebo perfect comment, exactly what i was going to say! My camera is mounted on the chin on this helmet, my eyes line when riding is about 5cm above the screen when its in the high position so its fine for my height.
