​@@Ignaz89the human body is not designed to be this lanky. (it's a genetica malformation) It puts enormous stress on the organs, bones and joints. The heart has to pump twice as hard to circulate the blood to their extremities and there's a plethera of other side effects. As you may have noticed, they are never peopoetional. They don't grow in width, only in height. I would assume the internal organs are also being stretched and squeezed in unnatural ways

At age 8, ca. 1954, I 'met' one of these tall men, i.e. British born TED EVANS, at the Ringling Bros. Circus, at Madison Square Garden, NY! He appeared in the 'side show' & sold metal rings,(which I bought) with his name & height & stated that he was 8'5" tall & "The Tallest Man in the World""! Obviously, at 7'8", he exaggerated his height, but I got to (shake his hand), as I took the ring off his finger! Great memories!

I met Calvin Lane, he played on of the Predators and he was 7’6; and man I came up to his stomach and I’m 6’2. He made me look like a child, but he was super kind and friendly. I got to meet and speak with him for about 30 minutes, and it’s a treasured memory. Calvin said his brother was 7’4, and his father was 7’2 and was Zulu descent. I believe his mother was around 6’3-6’5 (can’t remember exactly) and as she played college basketball at the same school Calvin’s father went to. 😀 Cherished memory and got old Polaroids to prove it. 😁

My grandfather's brother Timothy Lloyd Young was over 7' tall. My first cousin William was 6'8". Marfan Syndrome from that side of my family. Possibly from my great grandmother Mary Elizabeth (Sampson) Young. Can't help but think of a possible biblical connection. She herself was well over 6 feet tall.

I know people have in general being living longer but there is a distinct lack of these people living to a ripe old age unfortunately. I think Albert Johan Kramer (78 years) and Chris Greener (71 years) are the oldest who have died, although there are obviously many of these people who are still alive and may also live into their seventies. Chris Greener appeared on British television from time to time and the everyday issues he faced, e.g. finding a car large enough to sit in, low doorways etc, makes you realise that it is not all good news, if you are over 7 feet tall.

It's so sad that most of these people suffered so much pain and didn't live very long due to their size. I actually find it perplexing that the average height of the human general population is slowly getting taller when it is stated that the enormous size of prehistoric animals is attributed to a much higher percentage of oxygen in the air. What aren't we also smaller on average, or have i missed the information about a steady increase in oxygen levels?
