Hey in a pinch if u needed it good deal but as far as longevity goes is where cheap power tools fail at and Walmart will not honor any warranty on hyper tough they will tell you to call them they will tell you it's Walmart and back and forth endlessly

I use the hyper tough tools to take the work load off my higher end tools on grimey, repetitive, low yield work. They're affordable enough to place em in pre-determined job site bags with multiple units. Also, if a certain low use tool is needed they can fill the gap in professional tool platforms without breaking the bank for a tool you may only need sometimes.

This is great little wrench. I use it all the time working on the cars and whatnot. I strongly suggest picking one up and they’re on clearance at a lot of Walmarts right now for $40 with 2.0 ah battery and charger.

Honestly, i would hypertough impact drill/driver to remove certain bolts on my car engine & not worry so much about the bolt being broke. Bolts like the oil pan bolt, transmission pan bolt & others, that you really can't put alot of torque on.

The 12v router is the only hyper tough tool that I have. It’s great for the price! It’s not a tool that I use a lot, so I wanted to start with something cheap. It does everything that I need no problem. Even with the tiny battery that it comes with the run time isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Awesome line of tools for the price. Thinking about getting the oscillating multi tool next.

The 12v Brushless Drill driver has a metal check now. They must have heard your feedback. The Walmart in my town just launched the 12v line up two weeks ago and it has a metal chuck. Line up looks nice! Thanks for the video, I am definitely getting the 4ah and the impact wrench, along with the Oscillation tool. That looks sweet.

For me it's all about being "married" to a single battery platform with a wide array of tools available. I have the M12 Milwaukee tools, that I started with years ago due to the 3/8" ratchet. Then I got the stubby impact, then the cut off tool, then the "Dremel", soldering iron, 1/4" ratchet, etc. My 18V platform is Ryobi for home repairs. Those M12 tools are used maintaining my small "jalopy" fleet and yard equipment.

Tool snob here. I wasted my money on Milwaukee tools, when I know for about half the price other tools can accomplish the same thing, but maybe take a little longer amount of time. I truly don't need these tools, and I could have gotten along with just a basic drill driver for DIY work. One of these days I will learn, lol

I've heard of personal users defined as prosumers. Individuals who work on their own or family vehicles and projects who don't need Snap On, Matco ect but also don't want to invest in the non-truck higher end tools like Milwaukee or Dewalt. Though they still want tools they can rely on without breaking the bank. We're also the Harbor Freight/Ace Hardware/Walmart purchaser's.

@@HVACShopTalk - if I see more positive reviews I might get one, but it's really more than $60 by the time you buy the upgraded charger and 4AH battery, still not a bad price though. Torque Test suggests getting the DeWalt 12V extreme instead. I have all the Craftsman impact wrenches now because Lowe's was always clearance pricing them except for the high impact. I picked up their small 3/8 impact bare tool for ~$25-35. It's nice for tight spots and small jobs, but something even smaller would be great.
