Wow cool snare! I was looking at the Drumcraft Bell Brass "replica" and saw this one. Did not know that Lars had a signature snare. How did you like it while you had it? Do you still have it? Thanks! COol video as well, like all the different dynamics it has. I would personally like to try my go to head & tuning combo to try it out if I had the chance -- I usually use a Remo Powerstroke P77 on top tuned fairly high, and then a Remo Ambassador Snare Side on bottom tuned medium-high. @@chriscarrillo967 Nice to meet you, bro! I still have a lars snare drum. I used it for recording my band, and if you look up my channel, you can also see it filmed in the studio. I also have a tama 50th bell brass snare drum. The tama bell brass is really the best.

What's the difference between this snare and regular Tama bell brass? Apart from the finish.

Yes, this snare is lars ulrich signature model. Shell is scorched earth finish. tama bell brass snare is perfect🥁

Lars doesn't get a percentage of any of the other bell Brass drums ;-)

They’re very era specific. The original 80’s ones were made a certain way out of certain materials. Then in the mid 90’s and early 2000’s when this snare was made, they came up with a different composition and also a different manufacturer made the shell. Fast forward to 2024 and they’ve replicated the 80’s shell to a T. Sound and finish along with the hardware. But for $4K, they can keep it!
