日本語のわからない外国の方でも感情が高ぶって人目をはばからず涙を流してしまうのは玉置の 歌声から魂の揺さぶりをしっかり受け止める感性があると言うこと。聞く人の感受性がどれだけ 敏感かを試されてるようだ。 １／ℱゆらぎの歌声というのがあるが、美空ひばりさんや宇多田ヒカルさんはウィスパーボイス の持ち主とされ、聞き手に繊細なビブラートなどで心地よさを与えることが出来る数少ない歌手 と言われている。玉置の歌声にも人のこころを揺さぶる魂の叫びのような特別な「何か」を持っ ているのだと思う。ただ単に上手い歌手だけではいきなりグッときて涙を流すことなんか出来な いはずだ。
