They have grown sooooo much from these days, hard to believe i saw them in San Diego and it was packed, must of been around 10,000 people. It feels good to see bands make it, i remember when i played in bands but never got past local festivals and opening for slightly bigger acts, kind of miss those carefree days.

Fuck ! Has it really been 10 years. I was in year 8 when I first listened to innerspeaker when it came out in 2010. Simpler times. All I wanted to do from that point was be in a band. Now I am an accountant 😥Oh well that's the way things go I guess !

Coolest iteration of this band, after Currents, mostly after Lonerism, but Yes im changing and a few others slapped, so currents is up there . The place kevin Parker is at now, while still sounding tame impala, to me sounds like he joined the upper echelon of the media that requires you to go to places like Epstein's Island and worship the devil. What with all the radio music he now makes, diverging from the kaleidoscoping psychedlia presence levin parker was able to crafr the fiest two albaauma

@@spacegrass6632 yeah, he’s noticeably pitch-y here even to around post-lonerism era. probably needed hundreds of takes to get the perfect vocal tracks of innerspeaker but that’s kinda natural. he also got a vocal coach sometime after lonerism or currents and is loads better nowadays.

other guitarist still plays with tame impala. and the bassist was nick albrook (pond, mink mussle creek) until 2013.. and i believe it was his personal choice to leave tame impala so he could focus on writing and recording for pond

the quality isn’t the greatest, but it’s not like the person recording had access to the soundboard recording. there was some eerie feedback but other than that, it’s some of the best drumming i’ve seen jay do.
