Jay is a magnificent drummer, however I personally adore the way Kevin makes the drums literally glue everything together. His best playing is done on the drums in my opinion, still a boss at literally everything he does though.

IdoIndeedFlip when I said he drags, I meant that he just plays the songs slower than the recordings. his tempo is still steady and the groove is good, but when he plays them so much slower than the recorded ones the songs sound kind of sluggish

It's a Burny!! They make, well made, really good knock-off's of Les Paul's. So much so they were sued by Gibson and they're illegal to sell state side. I bought one in Japan great price too. Just found this band the other day though and I'm in love with them.

I often hear other people say the hofner is just a dull thud of a bass guitar, can't say they're.wrong but it works so well for this track and tame impala's music in general.
