Her way of communicating her struggle, limitations or to my inability to cherish the nuance that can underpin relationships. Hard to tell even now. I forgive her, but boy does my heart smarts everytime I hear it. I'm here for it though as I have learnt so much through the loss. Music talks. Good work K Parker ❤

Fucking unreal. Without a doubt Tame Impala is one of the greatest bands in all of music history. The sense of atmosphere, emotion, and of course musicianship is spot-on across the board in everything they do. Huge props to Kevin Parker for crafting such masterful art that truly transcends any particular medium of expression. Aural, visual, spiritual... Fucking love it. So pumped for this album!!!! In the same vein of artistic expression I myself am a psychedelic rock musician who, like Kevin Parker, records and produces everything on my own. If you dig atmospheric yet catchy psychedelic vibes, come and take a listen. Would love to hear what you think. Thank you! Peace and love to all -R

Stunning visuals. They tell a story we all can relate to. The depictions of a troubled man who loves his woman but can't get his shit together are so transparent, articulate, and spot on. Temptation is a mf. My husband thought the grass was greener on the other side. He left me and our 5 daughters to move to another state with another woman. He came back home 4 months later. He still couldn't get his shit together, so we separated again. He moved out, and he died from Covid 2 months later. I didn't have time to prepare my mind for his sudden death, and now I'm struggling with grief and pain like I've never known before. I'm moving forward, but it's a slow process. This time of year is always hard for me. In September of 2019 my husband hit a girl who was walking with our truck as she was walking across the street. He left on October 2nd, 2019, our lives were changed forever. It marked the beginning of the end. I knew it was over long before he left. He had done so much damage to our family, our separation was inevitable. We had our share of problems, but even when we separated, we maintained a special love for each other. After my husband's death, I had an awakening. I've become wiser and stronger, I have a greater appreciation for life and love, and I have a greater understanding of things that were, are, and always will be. I've learned a lot about myself, the world around me, and mankind as a whole. Sometimes, life will take you to uncharted territory. You must sharpen your sense of direction and find the right path. The journey of life isn't easy. There are things and circumstances that can throw you off course. Things that distort your vision or knock you down completely. The moral of the story....don't take life and love for granted. We never know when our last day on Earth will be. Cherish the love and the memories because someday that may be all you have left.

The emotion of this song.....Kevin poured his soul into it. This has to be the most beautiful, egotistical, amazing, narcissistic, honest, romantic, dysfunctional song I ever heard. This song is so hypnotic I hear it my head when it's not playing❤❤😍😍
@nathanielszczerbinski8449 Жыл бұрын
There is nothing narcissistic about a person admitting who they are and saying that's the best they could do and there sorry for it. Its shitty that you think that.
@nathanielszczerbinski8449 Жыл бұрын
Just saying! Its brutal and painful to admit when you make mistakes. This song is brutally honest. Cause it's hard for people to admit that they fucked up. And the fact that admitting it gives that person respect. Not very many people do that. Maybe you need to look that word up again.
@bosslady7611 Жыл бұрын
@nathanielszczerbinski8449 I don't know if you think you're teaching me something here, but I don't need you or anyone else to tell me about admitting your fuck ups. I respect this song, the meaning of it, and the artist who made it. I also respect those who take responsibility for their mistakes. I said what I said. I'm entitled to my own opinion, just as you are. This song is brutally honest and wonderful. For me, it's personal. My husband, who died from Covid before we could work it out, was narcissistic, but I still loved him to the moon and back. If you had fully read my initial comment, maybe you would understand where I'm coming from. My husband gave no reasons for his irresponsibility, except that he's a grown man who makes his own decisions. This is a beautiful song that describes how a lot of men feel when they know they've been selfish and wrong. Sounds like narcissism to me. It's not a diss to the song, the artist, or any man out there. Hell, we're ALL a little narcissistic to a certain extent. We've all been guilty of fulfilling our own selfish needs without thinking about what we're doing to the other person. You're thinking too much and overreacting. It isn't that serious, and critical thinking isn't needed here. This was my experience and my interpretation of what the song means to me. If you disagree, that's ok. But there's absolutely no need to be an asshole about it. That's the beauty of music. We can all enjoy it, and we are ALL entitled to think what we think about it. Who the hell do you think you are telling me how to feel and think? Last time I checked, we all had free will and freedom of speech. If you didn't like my comment, you could have easily just scrolled past it. But you chose to pick an argument with me like the ignorant, rude, immature idiot you are. Please leave me the fk alone and go find someone else to pester TROLL!!! 🖕

Love this track!!!! Nothing but good energy!!!! And this isn't a misogynistic track at all!!! It's meant to be looked at from the perspective of "Cause I'm A Human" although he says "man" he's referring to his own personal shoes he walks, not in a sexist light though, he worded it like this he said to troll some ppl who would take him the wrong way when Kevin always proved to be the opposite of that path! Much love and blessings to everyone reading this!!!💚💚💚💚

i can imagine going through the same shit as this ‘man’ you know. Falling in love instantly and getting your heart broken over and over... trying very hard to find love but always failing, and beating yourself up about it whenever it goes wrong (taking drugs, alcohol ect)

kick it back to that 60's 70's trippy vibe with the guitar fuzz distortion, Rock n Roll baby! Shit I'd love to see Tame Impala do a cover of strawberry fields forever.

I'm almost 39. Was working security at Bonnaroo in 2016. Never heard of them. Was called in for extra security around the barricade for Tame Impala. I was also on a large dose of MDMA (not "Molly", for you younger ones, actual ecstasy). I have never had such an experience. I've been to hundreds upon hundreds of shows. It's rare enough to get into a band when you've never even heard one of their songs, but to feel the way I did-I will never forget and probably never be able to explain how I felt that night. I remember getting home and Googling the band and I was like, oh, over a hundred million views on this one video. Apparently I'm old and out of touch. But I EXPERIENCED it. I'm actually grateful that I'd never heard his music. It made it special.
